What a find!

Caught in rain stumbled on this absolute gem close to LBJ Library and University. Staff superb. Food delicious. Lovely Ethiopian Amber beer. Very reasonably priced $50 for two including drinks.

It was not immediate to me reach it since I was riding a bike but once I found it I thought: either the place didn't work, either I was there on the wrong time, because I was almost empty. It was the second option! When I left, it was full :) The place is humble, the people are very nice,... More

Perhaps not the best of locations, being situated just off a dusty highway, but that's all forgotten as soon as you enter. The interior is charming and the staff couldn't be nicer. We ordered the vegetarian platter to share, a mouth-watering array of all the meat-free dishes on the menu served with zesty Injera bread to scoop up by hand.... More

Go for lunch buffet. Fantastic. Hole in the wall but clean and safe. Friendly service. Great flavor and spices of Ethiopia.

Ah, the rich, aromatic, and invigorating spices of Ethiopian food. Whenever I feel that both my body and soul are hungry, especially after a long bike ride or a day that puts me through the wringer, I immediately think to go here. The space, itself, is very unassuming, with plastic covered tables located right off the highway by the University... More

Reviewed various restaurants online that were close to University of Texas and that had mainly vegetarian meal options since our NYC vegetarian nephew was in town for the weekend, attending a UT-A sociology convention. Found this one close to I-35 and a short drive from the university. (No outdoor eating area: much too noisy with the I-35 commuter traffic.) Friendly... More

It's a small quiet place - you need to look out for their sign board or you could easily miss it. Its a nice place and the food is good and the portions are large. In fact, I think it tasted a bit like home-made Indian food - strong flavours of spices. I'd recommend the doro watt.

A real surprise as the restaurant looked like a bit of a dive on the outside. Staff were great, I loved the food and it was great value for money! Highly recommended!
