I tend to go to a BBQ restaurant each week since moving here from nyc and I have to say they have the most succulent and tasty ribs I have ever had. You do not even need to touch there BBQ sauce. For $18 you get a steal. I would highly suggest stopping here on your Austin trip if you... More

Food was very good, one of the better places I visted in Austin. Noticeably more upmarket than the "better" BBQ alterantives. Note: make a reservation as this is a busy restaurant. However they do have a bar where you can walk-in and order off the menu.

I was in Austin for a business retreat, and the upstairs section was reserved for our group. Needless to say the service was excellent. We were served a buffet-style dinner, which included beef brisket, pork ribs, asparagus, Mac n' cheese and fried green tomatoes with a crab salad. I'm not a huge brisket fan, but it was tasty. The pork... More

It was a private party and we had the upstairs to our group. Friendly staff. Great sugar coated peanuts at the bar. A buffet with Texas style - of course! Cole slaw, terrific mini-corn muffins, and the spicy hot mac and cheese were my favorites. Brisket was okay. If the buffet was good on a most crowded Monday evening so... More

Arrived around 7, in the rain, no parking available near by, no valet service. There was a 30 minute wait for the garden seating (plastic walls and heaters) the bar was 3 deep so we chose to go elsewhere to have a drink and wait, walked 2 blocks in the rain to sit with a glass of wine - I'm... Recommendation if you go at night- take a small flashlight to view the menu because there is not a lot of light. Also, be prepared to talk over the noise. If you can get past that, then enjoy your food experience. Our server, Hugh, was informative and friendly but not pushy. I had the pulled pork dinner. The pork was... More

Nice environment and great food. Since it is downtown, sometimes parking can be an issue. But once you get inside, the experience is well worth it.

Tried a lot of BBQ while we were in Austin. This had the worst food of the bunch for the highest price. The portion size was subpar, especially for the price, and the brisket was dry/overcooked. That said, I may have just gotten unlucky. The atmosphere is really cool and I think if I went back to Austin, I would... More

Excellent food and drinks. Every dish on the menu is worth a try. Barman was very talented and they served a decent selection of local microbrewer beers. Great atmosphere with a cool vibe.
