We really enjoyed this. The pork ribs were amazing. Everything we had was great. Staff is friendly, courteous & prompt with drinks & food. And if you can sit at the bar & get there early enough, bar food is half off some afternoons.

We stopped in when they were still serving brunch buffet. $40 a person seemed a bit much. But the food was good. Just not sure we would go back because of the price.

I came here with a friend for our last meal in Austin, we had walked Lady Bird Lake and were walking around downtown. We got there at 5pm (we skipped lunch and were starving) and said they would sit us shortly and could wait at the bar. The bartender was very nice. I asked him to recommend a local beer... More

Great vintage atmosphere at Lamberts and good barbeque - but you better have reservations or come early and eat outside. They don't take reservations on the patio which has a few large picnic tables with nice chairs, but it's best to get there when weekday dinner service starts at 5:30. The fried green tomatoes are great served with crab salad.... More

Just wow. What a great meal. Everyone raved about their food, and we all had trouble walking out of there. My personal favorites were the pulled pork, mac and cheese and the brussel sprouts-- but from the sound of it, everything that came out was perfect.

We came based on a recommendation and the place is very nice when you walk in. The decoration is Texan cool and the staff friendly. The restrooms are upstairs and when you visit you'll see a live music area where apparently they have local bands at night or weekends, overall the space is used well design-wise. The menu also seemed... More

On our last night in Austin we though we would try another BBQ place and chose Lamberts as we were heading downtown. When we arrived the place was very busy, and as we didn't reserve a table were told we could wait an hour or try get a place at the bar, which was packed. We opted for to wait... More

Very trendy place with nice atmosphere. County jazz band was playing in the upstairs bar/dining room & they were very good. Texas BBQ menu but also has some interesting fish selections as well. Apps, soups ($10 a bowl) and salads a bit pricey but main entrees are very reasonable. I had the pork ribs & they were excellent. Very friendly... More
