Restaurant is unassuming. Not flashy, on a corner, could be easily overlooked but that is in no way representative of the bold flavors you will experience inside. If you like fantastic barbecue, you should eat the brisket. Best ever!!! All of the food is very tasty. Fried okra is so good. The coconut pie is amazing, very different from the... More

We dined here on Wednesday night - no reservation, so we ate at the bar. I had the chicken and Andouille gumbo, which was phenomenal! great flavor, and liked the chunks of okra in there. We moved on to the beef short rib, and had beans and broccoli as our sides.. all great

Was visiting Austin during the weekend and was in the mood for some good TX BBQ - heard about Lamberts and decided to go there...was pleasantly surprised! Didn't know about their Sunday brunch, but was on it right away as soon as I saw the variety - the Brisket was great, AND they offer dishes included in the Brunch that... More

good food. As an introduction I was invited to this bbq place but I do not eat read meat. The good news the fish of the day was amazing. Second good news my friend had the black hangus and loved it. The small dishes they give you on the side of your main course are tasty. Third good news trust... More

The food was good, but waaaaaay overpriced. I had the brisket sandwich and it was so good, but I had the baked mac n cheese as a side, highly disappointing. I couldn't finish it because it tasted so odd. The rib appetizer we ordered was good, but the ribs were a bit dry. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere... More

Came here for dinner and it is crowded location even at 9 pm. Ordered filet mignon medium rare and it came out perfect. The appetizers and desert were only OK.

The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was nice, however it was a bit crowded. I would recommend reservations. It was also a bit on the pricey side, but worth it for a special occasion.

We walked to Lamberts and though there were several empty tables visible from the hostess stand we were told it would be a 45 min wait. We were new to Austin so we took the time to go through the very cool toy store next door! When we were seated we were put outside where it was still very, very... More

We celebrated my aunt and uncles 40th Wedding anniversary so large party and Lamberts was very accommodating for that! They even had me yes for us that congratulated them, which I thought was a nice touch! The way it was set up was like family style but that gave us a chance to try everything and it sure was yummy!... More
