Bad choice

It's a trendy place - parking across road - bathrooms are upstairs so know that if your older. I did not see an elevator but there may be one. My buddy had a pulled pork bbq sandwich and it looked great - I had the hanger steak and it was chewy, tough and not good - I ordered it medium... read more

It was a very nice surprise to stumble across this restaurant. The food was fantastic. Everyone in our party really enjoyed the atmosphere. There was a long wait so it would be good to make a reservation. This is at the top of the list of restaurants that we will hit again.

Stopped past on a cool winters evening and sat in the covered outdoors area. That was not as cold as we were expecting. Food arrived hot and delicious. There were a number of items on the menu that were specicialities of the restaurant like the wild boar ribs - great. Deviled eggs were awesome too. Housemade Charcuteries were also excellent.... The smell outside is amazing, walk-ins impossible. Reservations made for the following day (Wednesday), standing room only, seated 30 minutes after our reservation, food was very expensive for what we received, only one dinner in our group of 4 was great (the BBQ ribs special of the day), the brisket was just okay, the sides were good but not worth... We lucked out and happened to hit Lamberts for lunch on a beautiful, 70-degree weather day. Our party of 8 sat out in the patio which was perfect. Good service. Great food for decent value. Nice selection of meats and sides. Oh and the jalapeño cornbread appetizer - yum!

The ribs were delicious and desserts met all expectations. The wait for a table was At least one hour on a Thursday night and not much room for waiting.

Went for Sunday brunch. They had a wide variety of foods and all were very flavorful. They have a brunch but also have cooked to order foods on their brunch menu. The brisket hash, eggs Benedict and French toast was excellent. Also the devil eggs were my other favorite. I was so surprised to find they had cheese grits, one... More

This is high-end BBQ for sure! If you're up for a classy downtown place with excellent service, gourmet southern food and great drinks this is the place. We've been a couple times and loved it. The wait can be a problem as this is a busy/popular place.

Food and staff were fantastic. My husband is always hesitant eating at BBQ restaurants, but he loved his dinner as much as I did. Very unique building with lots of character. We can't wait to go back.

If you're in town for just a few days and don't have the time to wait in line for hours (see: Franklin's), grab a table at Lamberts. I wasn't floored by my pulled pork, but it was very good. It was pretty unlike pulled pork you might get in the Northeast in that it wasn't drowned in sauce and you... More
