We heard great things but couldn't get a reservation. We decided to chance it and we're glad we did. We had brisket and pulled pork and a very good light slaw on the side. Service was good, food was very good and prices did not seem high to me. This is an Austin favorite and we can see why.

We wanted to eat some good Texas bbq while we were in Austin. We were able to get a reservation at Lamberts and were seated quickly. Lively place and our waiter was really nice and helpful. My husband ordered ribs which only has 3-4 ribs in an order was tasty but a little pricey. My dinner was a smoked fish... More

Our day spent in Austin could not be complete without trying some BBQ and Lambert's was recommended. Our waitress was very friendly and really took the time to make recommendations and suggestions. I am not a BBQ expert but the food was delicious! Each of us ordered something different so we could all sample a bit of everything and no... More

I was looking for place to eat around Austin downtown. I asked a cashier and she recommend Lambert. I was greeted by a hostess. She quickly got a table set up for me. My waiter, Wes, was very helpful with wine pairing and food suggestion. I decided to order Ribeye steak and broccoli side. The steak was very tasty and... More

Visited Lamberts with colleagues on a recent business trip. The food was excellent. I had the Cold Smoked Rainbow Trout, which was top notch! Enjoyed the family style sides. Lots of choices to satisfy the varied tastes of our large party.

Looking for a place to be seen with overpriced food and lack of attention - try Lamberts. We were warned that it was pricey and popular but were not quite prepared for the experience. Lacking reservations we were ushered into a large supplemental seating area in the rear of the restaurant in a plastic greenhouse type addition. Temperature control was... More

I tend to go to a BBQ restaurant each week since moving here from nyc and I have to say they have the most succulent and tasty ribs I have ever had. You do not even need to touch there BBQ sauce. For $18 you get a steal. I would highly suggest stopping here on your Austin trip if you... More

Food was very good, one of the better places I visted in Austin. Noticeably more upmarket than the "better" BBQ alterantives. Note: make a reservation as this is a busy restaurant. However they do have a bar where you can walk-in and order off the menu.
