Beef Rib. Get it.

Beef rib is to die for. So good. Its also cool to set at the bar for happy hour. They make some great drinks. You have to get there early, they will up all the time. Its a must stop for ribs.

Unbelievable grub at a fair price. We had the deviled eggs, brisket, pulled pork and fish at our table. They were all cooked perfectly and arrived fresh and fast. The patio is small and intimate & the interior of the restaurant has a long staircase to the upper level giving the building a very grand feel. A relaxing meal despite... More

First time at restaurant, and for brunch. Overall a good experience, but definitely pricey. Husand did one lap of the buffet and was finished; I did a couple but had no room for dessert! The best dishes are: brisket, pork ribs, and grilled asparagus. The prime rib was also delicious, and melted in the mouth! The brisket and ribs were... More

This restaurant is located in a restored building on trendy 2nd street. At 5:30 on a week night it was bustling with patrons at the bar as well as early diners. The menu has some updated twists while staying true to their barbecue roots. We stuck to the basics ordering brisket and pork ribs. The brisket we smoky and flavourful... More

This was an amazing restaurant experience! From the food, service and atmosphere, this place hit the nail on the head! We started off with deviled eggs that would make your grandma's eggs look like Play doh. The Frito pie was out of this world as well! Next we had the shrimp and grits and wild bore ribs. When your family... More

Had the fried Green Tomatoes (B+) and the Boar burnt Ribs (A) before a main course of BBQ Brisket (A-) and the Short Ribs (A++++). No sauce just rub ... the Texas way!

Let me preface with this, I used to run a BBQ restaurant, so I'm a little picky. That being said, Lambert's was so disappointing. I'd heard it was one of Austin's elite BBQ spots. It definitely has elite prices, but the food doesn't match. The fried green tomato with crab as an app was delicious, but that's where the tastiness... More

The ribs here were excellent. Even better were all the sides - the mashed potatoes were really terrific. The only thing I didn't love were the collard greens. Service ok.

I would not recommend going there. The waitress was so rude. And it's expensive too. That is a bad mix. Stay away from there.

This is my second visit to Austin and my second time at Lamberts. This time and in December of 2014, the food was amazing. The top three choices recommended by our server were the Short Rib, Pork Ribs and Beef Brisket. We had a table of 6 so we got each of those options. Our sides included the mac and... More
