Fogo de ChaoR (fo-go dee shoun), is an authentic Southern Brazilian steakhouse. In 1979, FogoR began sharing the gaucho way of preparing meat in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Today, our gaucho chefs still expertly grill each of our 16 cuts of meat and offer you continuous tableside service. We invite you to enjoy the delicious preparations of our gaucho chefs along with our gourmet salad bar, authentic Brazilian side dishes, and award-winning wine list.

You can never go wrong at Fogo de Chao. ( Unless you are looking for an inexpensive meal) Their food is great, awesome salad bar, great drinks and we have loved the wait staff every time we visit the Austin location. For those with Celiac disease or gluten intolerance, they are always so great about working with you and its... More

This is a chain Brazilian Steakhouse. They bring you an endless array of meats (beef, pork, chicken, lamb) and carve slivers of meat for you as many times as you like. There's also a comprehensive salad bar, but for the price you'd better focus on the meat. I did not try but was told that the cheesy biscuits are delicious.

Fogo de Chao has became famous due to the genuine Brazilian cuisine in the USA. However, after having been acquired by an American group, some characteristics have been changed. The food remains just ok but far away to be what it was in the past!!!

HIGH CLASS... this is the way to run a restaurant...So many delectable meats slow roasted Brazilian style. There is a beautiful market bar with salad, cold meats, fruit, as well as black beans, rice, scalloped potatoes, and more...the Pao de Queijo is heaven melting in your mouth. Delicious meats come around as often as you can handle it...if you need... More

My husband and I went during lunch since its 1/2 the price of dinner. There's just too many meat options to choose from to feel like I get my $'s worth plus I watch what I eat daily ;). It's still great to be able to choose different options of meat at 1 sitting then have only 1 or 2... More

I stopped in for lunch while in Austin for a business trip. I had never visited a Fogo de Chao before but head of the concept from some of my Brazilian friends. I have to say it was delicious and next time I am in a city that has one I certainly will be visiting again, this time for dinner!
