You will love this place, and all the other Torchy's locations. Funky Décor, hipster attitude and employees and great selection of well thought out taco options. it's an order at the counter place, get a number and the taco's get delivered.....chips and salsa and queso as options! you should definitely try Torchy's, I promise you will return!!

These tacos were very good. very fresh ingredients, I got one beef, one sausage, and one pork. The sausage was the only one I was not liking as much......since it was not chopped up, but cut down the middle. The portions are huge, and two would have been plenty, but my eyes were bigger than my stomach in this case.

Best tacos I've ever had (and believe me, I've had a lot of tacos)! Quality ingredients, generous fillings, perfect sauces! Torchy's is a definite must-have if you are a taco aficionado or if you just like awesome food!

I was skeptic to try this at first but it all changed. Please, please ask for the 'secret' menu, those tacos there are the superstars. My favorite is the 'missionary' - (lots of) shredded pork topped with pickled onion and sauce atop a double tortilla. yes! double - one of them is crunchy which really give your bite a different texture... Amazing, it would take a week of eating there everyday to decide on a favorite! I would if I lived there. Try all of the sauces. Be aware of the birds on the porch, they like the food as much as you will.

On our latest trip to Austin we found the food truck lot by mistake. I am so glade that we did. Torchy's Taco Truck did not disappoint. They are awesome. We also had the chips and queso. It was soooo good just wish I had ordered 2. I had the shrimp taco. I would recommend trying that one.

Since moving to Austin we had several people mention that Torchy's was a must try. We tried it and it was good, but it wasn't my favorite. They have unique options and the food was very yummy, but it won't be one of those places I have to have again and again. HOWEVER, it is totally worth going once to... More

No dislikes. Unique tacos with unique names. Brushfire, Republican, Democrat, Trailer Park, and so on. Even better than Tacodeli.

Oh so good - I went back several times in my short visit. Also, gluten free dining is hard to find with more than one or two choices. Thank you for the extensive GF menu. Everyone in line talks about Torchy's "secret menu" that is on the web only, so you might want to check it out, however, with celiac... More

Austin has lots of great tacos, but Torchy's are amazing. There is a great selection of fresh, traditional fillings and some not so traditional ones, too. They have some great house made sauces, too. They the hottest ones, they are just right for a hot day! You can get the tacos "trashy", which means you get more gooey stuff with... More
