We stopped to grab a bite to eat because a friend in San Antonio recommended it and it was definitely worth it. They have a wide variety of tacos and all of the ones we tried were amazing! They have something for everyone.

These tacos will change your life. You must try the fried avocado taco, and do not skip the chips and queso. Be sure to check out their secret menu too: http://www.reddit.com/r/Austin/comments/198mdi/torchys_tacos_sacred_secret_menu/

THE most tasty tacos I have ever had. Just wow. Great value for money and incredible. Also had the tortilla chips and dip. Have that as well. If you're in Austin GO.

Excellent Dirty Sanchez and Baja Shrimp, on corn tortilla. Nice sitting outside and people watching. Coffee is not good, food always very good - brought our own coffee. Did not have the queso this time but that is always tasty/exceptional. This location is the best Torchy's by far.

I am vegetarian and picky. I got one fried avocado and one independent. The fried avocado was good but the independent was AMAZING! I was skeptical since it had carrots but the crunch they added was perfect! I am hooked on these tacos now. The line was LONG and SLOW with no shade so be careful. One lady passed out... More

I took a taxi ride that cost more than the meal. I was skeptical. I was wrong. This was worth it. They supposedly have three locations. No reservations. Limited seating. Best food and reasonable prices. You choose single tacos from the menu and three should do it. Individual items include chicken, tuna, salmon etc. I tried six each better than... More

We stopped at Torchy's for a late afternoon snack and was pleasantly surprised to see a non-traditional taco menu. We had The Republican, Crossroads, Fried Avocado, The Democrat, & Beef Fajita. I wouldn't recommend the Fried Avocado, as some things aren't meant to be fried. Other than that one, the rest were great and I would highly recommend.

The trailer park is where the original Torchy's began. It's a good taco with a huge variety. From vegetarians to straight up beef lovers. However, Torchy's have sprung up everywhere. This makes the experience rather drab. The uniqueness and funky flavors do not seem very original . But the trailer park is very unique. It screams "Keep Austin Weird".

If you love Tacos , go to Torchy's Tacos in Austin Texas. We ordered 6 different tacos and they were all delicious. The line was so long that we almost did not stay but the wait was worth it. The flavors and taste of these tacos were so good. Each flavor an amazing taste. This place is an absolute must... More
