Good, but not on a rainy day

Torchy's tacos are delicious! I had a shrimp taco, a chicken taco and chips and salsa...all equally wonderful. The only seating is outside, so I wished I had been there on a nicer afternoon. However, the cool and rainy weather kept the crowd down, so there is the positive!

This is on the "must do" list each time we visit Austin. The food is the best. I love the atmosphere as well. You can't go wrong with anything you order!! Great service too. ENJOY!!

Such a wonderful variety of tacos--avocado, beef fajita, many taste combinations, all at a reasonable price. Great queso and chips as well. You have a choice of corn or flour tacos, which is great. There are great sauces for the side, which add different levels of flavor to the tacos. Worth a visit on your trip to Austin.

The tacos we had were great. We had shrimp, avocado, and brisket. All came with good sauces served on the side. We did wait 40 minutes to order but that seems the thing people in Austin do at the popular trucks so you just have to roll with it. Food comes out fast after you order though.

I love tacos! But these tacos are just fantastic! One thing I always appreciate about any restaurant is a level of creativity in their food and a spirit about their atmosphere. The breakfast tacos (especially the Migas and the Ranch Hand) are delicious, and you can go on your own journey with building a taco to your specifications. As far... More

Ok. I went to Torchy's due to its popularity in the city and I can say for sure, I won't go back. I heard it had amazing tacos and when I arrived I was indeed surprised they had two types of tortillas, corn and flour. I liked that. After a while on line I ordered the democrat and the chile... I'm a registered Republican but at Torchy's I cross the aisle for the Democrat. Always great and a regular stop when in Austin.

The line was a little long when we got there but that gave us plenty of time to decide on our order as Tochy's noobs. I got way too many tacos because I wanted to try so many things. I think I got three breakfast tacos but two would have been enough, and lots of salsas. There is not enough... More

Torchy's was our first stop as soon as we got to Austin. We got there on a Friday at 2 pm and the lines were short. Best tacos ever! There were five of us and we shared our tacos to get a taste of everything. I personally liked the Democrat and Crossroads best. Brisket and short ribs in my tacos... More
