I went to Austin for the first time last November and my friends were raving about Torchy's. I love good Mexican food, especially tacos, especially especially breakfast tacos :) Torchy's did not disappoint! I ordered the Migas - Scrambled eggs, crisp corn tortilla strips, green chiles, avocado, pico de gallo & shredded cheese. Served with Tomatillo sauce on your choice... More

Torchy's has several locations around the city and all have delicious tacos! The ingredients are fresh and the staff is friendly! My favorite taco is The Democrat, but there are fine choices for every appetite!

Grabbed a few of the fried avocado tacos for a snack. I am obsessed with avocados and this taco definitely did not disappoint! We only stopped in for a quick snack so I didn't eat too much but according to my friends who bought other tacos, they were definitely worth the stop.

Took an early lunch to beat the crowds but apparently not early enough. Service was quick and fast anyway. I got the trailer park, extra trashy, and a crossroads. Both were great and in my opinion plenty of food! Fun and definitely an Austin experience!

Let's be real- eating out in Austin is pricey, but it's part of the city culture. (Insert food trucks!) No mandatory 20% tip! And you can get food that is JUST as good, if not better than sit down restaurants. So go to Torchy's already. For four taco's it worked out to be $16, but it was the best $16... More

You have to love ordering tacos out of a trailer. The staff is very friendly as we had never ate here before but read the awesome reviews. Sadly we only ordered 1 taco to share because we were so full from another trailer food truck but the breakfast taco that we ordered was delicious! We wished we could have ordered... More

Delicious and No Waiting Sat Lunch! Imagine our delight after arriving at Freddy's and seeing the 11am line. Those people must have been there since dawn. So we drove over to the trailer park where there was a short but fast line at about 11:30am. We tried the Baja Shrimp, green chile pork, fried avocado and potato and egg tacos.... More

There's not much to say - it's pretty simple - they've nailed the middle ground between the generic and the overly-gourmet, neither of which you reallllly want in a taco. Always fun to order out of a trailer, and the staff are extremely helpful in the decision making process if you're popping your Torchy's cherry or just can't narrow it... More

If there's one thing that ATX folks do, it's wait in long lines for food. It could be all the hype that goes along with food trucks, but this place was still good given that I felt I waited in line for 20-30 minutes. Make sure to get the chips and queso!
