Good sandwiches and reasonably priced lunches. Nice atmosphere and very good service. Good location. I recommend.

Best ever chicken and waffles! Add a margarita and the 16 hr drive from Colorado passes quickly! The staff is extremely accomodating and provide excellent service! The kitchen puts out food far quicker that I imagined, even with a full house! Absolutely not one bad thing to report after many, many meals here! Outdoor area is beautiful and the nights... More

Most of the time I sit out in the patio-- it's dog (and kid) friendly, and I'm usually greeted with a warm muffin. The servers have always been friendly and accommodating, and the food is always good!

This place is fun! The food is pretty much pub grub, but it is well done and the servings are more than adequate. We ate in the 'backyard' on a Saturday evening, had beers and our dinner while waiting for the live music to start. Lots of kids running around and in the playground made for very good little people... More

I took my mom and my little brother here and was not disappointed. The Texatarian is AMAZING! And the veggie burger is quite tasty as well. The meaty food looked good too. Bonus: on Sundays after five and during championship sports games (playoffs, ect.), if you order a burger you get to spin a wheel and have the chance of... More

We didn't know where to eat for brunch on a Sunday during a recent trip to Austin. While getting gasoline for our car my husband asked the man at the next pump if he was a local resident and he was. We got a recommendation from him for Freddy's Place. It's a quirky atmosphere which we really enjoyed. We ate... More

Pros: distanced from the busy road & traffic, plenty of shade under the trees, great laid back vibe, water bowl station for my pupper-dog, adequate parking, GREAT food (Freddidict was awesome), brunch drink selection was all tasty...Cons: I can't think of any? Away from all the tourism, this place was a picnic table, "true backyard" feel and we'd definitely go... More

Visiting my GD for graduation from UT and she took the fam here. There were six of us. Let me see, we have Chili (frito pie), chicken fingers, onion rings (monsterous), crispy chicken wrap, pulled pork sliders, and the old standby burger. All were very good. The service was excellent! We had a variety of margaritas and beers. There are... More

The patio is worth the trip. Live music, friendly staff, and food worth is value. I went alone but it would have been fun with a group.

Probably the best thing about Freddie's Place is the back patio, situated under some enormous oak trees, followed by the fact that it's dog friendly. However, I just had the worst fish and chips I've ever had. Ugh! The breading was so bland, not even salt and lemon made it palatable. The fish was thin, the breading thick, and the... More
