So we went to the celebrated Austin Kerbey Lane Café. It was good, but I'm not sure better than any other decent breakfast place. The pancakes were OK, a little dry from being over-cooked. Some great-tasting syrup made them better. The biscuits and gravy that our friends had didn't look like anything too special. Omelet was good. The coffee definitely... More

I recommended to go here for lunch to my friend when we were in the area. He commented that he hadn’t been to a Kerbey Lane in about twenty years, since he’d previously been going to UT. I knew what type of awesome quality we’d get, and my friend said the feeling hadn’t changed even though the menu had. I... More

Highly recommend this restaurant. I went here for lunch and found the food very good. Great Southern cooking. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with Collard Greens and Mashed potatoes. All made fresh. My friend had the pumpkin pancakes which were excellent. Service was great and diner has a great casual atmosphere.

Went there for breakfast and the pancakes were fluffy, the service was fast and courteous, and the migas rocked. Great experience overall.

Tried to find a place that offered good value and where my son could have gluten free pancakes. Found this restaurant in our area - and decided to try it. Wasn't busy around 9 am on a Thursday - and we were quickly seated in a comfortable booth and greeted by MotMan - and no - he's NOT a Duck... More

I've trying to go to Kerbey Lane for a while so trying to avoid the long morning wait-lines, we woke up early and made it there by 9am. Awesome service and in a Texas cold morning, the coffee and my hot chocolate was great. I ordered the Cuban Pork Eggs Benedict. Flavors were awesome but I must add two comments.... More

We went here for breakfast looking for pancakes and were not disappointed. They offer gluten free and vegan options, if that's something you're concerned about, but if not they have plenty of traditional options as well(read as: can get bacon). Reasonably priced and absolutely worth it! I'll be back!

The pancakes were so good. We loved the breakfast selection. Omelette was full of cheese and sausage. Prices were fair and service was on the dollar!
