My husband and I visited Cafe' Java for the first time late Thursday morning (around 10:00 am) and it was busy! We decided to visit after looking for a place close to where we were and tripadvisor is usually on target. Per our waiter John, we decided to try the French Toast and Ultimate Migas plate. OMG the ultimate migas... More

There was nothing wrong with the breakfast here. Friendly wait staff. This place is crowded, even at 8:00 a.m. We had a 20 minute wait. Even so, once we were seated, they didn't rush us. The coffee was decent (too many places have tasteless coffee, these days). I got one of the lo-carb options: the 2x2x3 (2 bacon, 2 sausage,... More

Come here on a Sunday - the brunch rocks. Expect decent lines - this place is popular! Got egg benedicts (very tasty, although they used ham instead of Canadian bacon) and a jalapeno burger. Both very delicious. Great coffee, and reasonable prices.

This us a Sunday breakfast tradition for me and my girlfriends. The staff is wonderful and you just want to help them out because they're do sweet. The breakfast isn't anything different, it's normal food that I'd rather get there then make myself. Everyone who works there seems to be related and it's just comforting. Lunch food is good too.... This place is pretty close to my house so it's very convenient. The staff are nice and the coffee is good! We had quick service when we just stopped in for coffee.

Great for breakfast... Sort of limited but adequate menu. Be ready to wait on weekend. Variety of coffees. Pancakes or eggs are a staple

Tucked into a neighborhood strip center. Not the usual chain breakfast joint. Huge plate included picadillo, didn't know what it was, but it is sort of a breakfast chili. I threw everything on the plate into a flour tortilla and it was yummy.

Was up north and decided to check out Cafe Java. It was a great find for breakfast. Certainly has a friendly neighborhood vibe. The Metric location was right by an Austin Community College and its clientele reflected that. I enjoyed my Carbbuster special. It was tasty, fresh and came just the way I ordered it. Noticed many empty plates returning to... More

I wait in line and it doesn't matter because I know I will be completely satisfied with my meal. The staff is awesome, they make my coffee just the way I like it, but lets face it, it comes down to the food and it never disappoints. They have 2 locations and both are great.

Stopped in Sunday morning for breakfast. About 30 minutes to wait, but they had excellent coffee available that made the time fly by. Our waiter was very efficient with a great sense of humor. The pancakes were fantastic as were the has browns. The only disappointment were the eggs benedict which was one of that day's specials. We would definitely... More
