We like it all the service and the food is excellent. We planned a stop in Austin just to eat at the Cafe.

If you visit Austin it is the must to have a breakfast at Magnolia Cafe! It is really interesting place with its special spirit. Order their signature Magnolia omelette and pancakes - you will like it. The only think that we did not like was Eggscape - the undercooked potatoes were covered with the eggs fried on the burnt oil.... More

The food was great as always. Great quality and wonderful portion and options. Our waitress was a bit o a slacker, messed up order, blamed it on the kitchen staff, took way too long to bring back change....maybe like she thought she was going to get a $9 tip on a $21 ticket?

You can't find late night food done any better than Magnolia Cafe! Both locations (Lake Austin Blvd & S. Congress) are excellent. I've had a few different things here, and all were superb. I highly recommend the omelets, and finish it off with a slice of hot apple pie! Great service to boot, so this is a 5 star for... More

I've always been a fan of Magnolia, but I was nervous about it still being great as I haven't visited in years. Food was as lovely as always, and they had a lot of options for all dietary requirements. Wait wasn't bad, but it was a weekday morning. Service felt a bit rushed and uncomfortable at times, but overall food... More

Worth the wait. I've been here a couple of times and the food does not disappoint. The pancakes are huge and amazing. I was with my family, and all 5 of us devoured our meals. Delish! They have parking, too, which is really a bonus in this city.

If you're looking for a local Austin place to eat a great breakfast- Magnolia is the place to go. Be prepared to wait since it is a small place but totally worth the wait. Intimate seating, great portions, and Austin-vibe in this local place.

Absolutely loved their blueberry pancakes. Was there last Sunday for brunch, was recommended by a friend who just moved to Austin a month back. Also ordered their Alaskan eggs Benedict...yummy !and their flaco tacos are good too...

Really enjoyed a lunch. Lots of interesting food ideas to try. Good service and did not feel rushed although it was busy. Even bought the T.Shirt. Def on the 'must try in Austin' list.

Saw this place on our favorite food show and had to slow down and check it out. It was totally worth the effort. The 6 different versions of Eggs Benedict alone would make me come back. Funky art work on the wall and awesome service. We were constantly asked if we needed coffee refills or anything else to make us... More
