Good Meat Counter, Cheese, Olives

Really enjoy the salami, roast beef, prosciutto (cheaper very good), and cheeses. Olive bar has nice variety. Take out counter in back has good (hot) food. I go back to this place on regular occasion. Somewhat disappointed in the less than friendly fellow (man/owner (?)) at register. Counter... read more

And a little lunchtime shopping. Food is really good, you order from the back and there is a little area behind the bakery where you can sit and eat. Great baklava and they make the pita bread fresh, you can buy it warm. I wish they had fries to go with the Gyros and the guy at the counter is... More

Excellent inexpensive place for lunch. Well prepared sandwiches, individual attention given to customers, and marvelous deli items. Highly recommended! !!!

This place makes me look good. I whip in and out with arms loaded with fantastic Greek food and go home and serve a feast of fresh olives, hummus, Greek salad, fresh baked pita breads, etc. or take a loaded antipasta plate to a party! It's a win!

Delicious and inexpensive--great for lunch to go. Also they sell ghee, which is not so easy to find.

The sandwiches are great. However, the staff are grumpy and unsympathetic. First, I purchased groceries here and did not receive a receipt. When I returned home with the groceries, I discovered that the seal on a jar had been broken. Then, the next day, the cashier refused to replace the goods, shrugging and muttering that his supplier did not guarantee... More

This place looks not-so fancy on the outside, but the food is really fantastic. the deserts are famous around town and the take out refrig. containers of hummos, etc. are very good. Pita bread is best in the city. large selection of olives, if you are into that. Not so crazy about the dry groceries, but oh well. Great find.
