Great Option for Breakfast.

We're always looking for a good place to eat breakfast, usually a very late breakfast, on a Saturday or Sunday. Galaxy Cafe was a great alternative that didn't require the 30+ minute wait that Magnolia Cafe or Kerbey Lane does. Get in line, order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Fabulous. Natural meat, gourmet coffee, all fresh and natural ingredients. Best place to eat in the area for miles.

I tried the smoked turkey and Brie sandwich, roasted tomato soup and French-pressed coffee. All the food was amazing; just if you want a little soup get the cup because the bowl is huge.

We went for dinner, but weren't so hungry because we'd had a late lunch. You order at the register, then sit down and it's brought to your table. You must have your order ready before you reach the register. It isn't easy choosing among all the dishes. I chose a club wrap. It was delicious and perfect for my limited... More

I've visited Zocalo and two Galaxy Cafes and love all of these places (now another Galaxy on Mesa Dr up north). Expect to order and pay at the counter which is one of the only reasons why this is Very Good rather than Excellent. For the quality of service and food, it seems more like a sit down and order... I like this restaurant and usually eat here a few times a year. After eating breakfast there this past Sunday I realized I have never done a review! I have only been here for breakfast so can't comment on lunch or dinner choices, but I have always enjoyed the food I get. I have had French toast, the breakfast plate... More

We've eaten here on several occasions and while it's a fun, funky place to go, the food always is a little disappointing. The portions aren't generous and there's nothing really outstanding about the taste. Took my Dad here for breakfast before a flight the other day because it was convenient, but we seldom think of coming here.

I ordered the Brie and smoked turkey sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese and it was very good. The Mac and cheese reminded me somewhat of a Luby's/ cafeteria style with the creamy sauce and soft noodles. The apricot jelly with the brie was the perfect combination and the tomato/mixed greens were fresh. The most distinct flavors in... More

Locally owned, casual, yet really good, fresh and creative basic food. ate there again tonight, and just had to write a good review.

I miss eating P. Terry's veggie burger since going GF, but Galaxy Cafe has restored my faith in the sandwich of all sandwiches! I order it "deluxe" with avocado and sauteed mushrooms. The patty itself is GF and it is served on a GF bun. Maine Root sodas on tap is a nice addition, as is Omission beer.
