I ordered the Brie and smoked turkey sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese and it was very good. The Mac and cheese reminded me somewhat of a Luby's/ cafeteria style with the creamy sauce and soft noodles. The apricot jelly with the brie was the perfect combination and the tomato/mixed greens... read more

We've eaten here on several occasions and while it's a fun, funky place to go, the food always is a little disappointing. The portions aren't generous and there's nothing really outstanding about the taste. Took my Dad here for breakfast before a flight the other day because it was convenient, but we seldom think of coming here.

Locally owned, casual, yet really good, fresh and creative basic food. ate there again tonight, and just had to write a good review.

I miss eating P. Terry's veggie burger since going GF, but Galaxy Cafe has restored my faith in the sandwich of all sandwiches! I order it "deluxe" with avocado and sauteed mushrooms. The patty itself is GF and it is served on a GF bun. Maine Root sodas on tap is a nice addition, as is Omission beer.

The food is not impressive, kind of bland. Also, you have to order at the counter, but they bring you the food, so there is a implication of a need to tip without the full service that would come with it. And the menu prices are restaurant prices, but the servings are smaller than I would get for basically the... More

Galaxy is obviously a poplular take out place as well as a destination sit down. It is not the finest, but the food quality was good, and only a couple of items needed to go into the microwave. I had linguine with Chicken, and while the sauce was not what I expected, it was a good sized portion, with the... More

Ate here three times during a long term work assignment in Austin. The spinach shrimp salad is awesome, as is the fish wrap. Would love to explore more of the menu next time I'm in Austin. Funky but delicious selection of beverages. Food seems to take a while to come out but I am going to chalk that up, happily,... More

This is a great lunch spot with gluten-free choices and a fairly good selection for many dietary challenges. Quick service and wait staff responded well to requests. The food was tasty and well made. Nothing fancy or frou-frou just good, clean food.

I liked all the healthy options on the menu. I had Mediterranean omelette which wasn't really an omelette but more like scrambled eggs with the other ingredients thrown in at last minute. It was good though. Nice assortment of fruit on the side. The way the place is designed, it creates a lot of echo and when busy....its very noisy.

Been there twice this week. Fish in spinach wrap is wonderful. Cilantro/jalepeno sauce is excellent. Burgers are very good. Sweet potato fries are great. We bought a bottle of pinot noir, which was sweet and pretty awful. Otherwise, very good.
