Beautiful

Nice, casual atmosphere, good service and food. The drive and views while dining are worth the trip alone.

It's hard not to like the Oasis, with it's eagle's nest vantage point, and well built deck that takes full advantage of the glorious location. Food is pretty good, and the prices are fair too, but really it's about being out there, overlooking the grand vista, and just chillaxin.

Please Oasis, stop relying on this view. Yes its fabulous, but I would make this trek from east Austin more often if I could count on good food and service. Love the variety of food choices, regardless of budget, easy valet parking so my grandmother doesn't have to schelp in the heat, and GREA LIVE music. But then the taste... More

Great views don't make up for what seems to be Applebee's-inspired food and terrible service. We've tried this place on several occasions, but the service has been worse each time. Ok, we've seen the water and eaten a cooked-to-death burger, now we're done with the place. Bring us our check please. Yes, we know it'll take 30 minutes to print... More

Go for the view, maybe some drinks but choose wisely two different drinks one was okay and the other watered down. Waitress never came back to fill a simple water glass, the service was horrible. Overpriced and not good at all. I had just soup and salad for dinner, sent the tortilla soup back because it was so salty. My... More

Since it's all about the view, the view is best at sunset. The Oasis has somewhat of a Theme Park feel and smell. The food is good, but quite expensive for the quality. You're paying for the view, and it's worth it. The server was friendly though a little slow, but that gave us more time to enjoy the view,... More

Oasis is not known for its food. It is all about the view. The view is from high upon a bluff over Lake Travis. And it's perfectly situated for viewing a big Texas Sunset. Order a margarita and something simple and enjoy!

I went to this place during the Memorial Weekend. The wait time is usually long, so be sure to go in early. The foods from their menu are mostly Mexican foods. The foods are okay, average. I go there for the view. Be sure to ask for outside seating so you can enjoy the view. The atmosphere in the restaurant... More

I was with a tour group of 40 women and we had a private room, which was nice. The service was not so good. There was no table service for the bar and not enough waiters for this size group. And when the desserts were brought out and set on the bar (part of the menu for the group) we... More
