Amazing view with excellent service and food. We visited during the day, but I'm sure the evening would be a ton of fun.

but the scenery is really pretty. I would go back for happy hour or appetizers, but I really didn't think the food was worth it. I am not sure of happy hour specials, but I'm sure they have them at some point during the afternoon/evening. The service was subpar and nothing we got was overly great (and we had quite... More

This location is a bit of a drive outside of Austin, but well worth it. Go during the afternoon and stay for the sunset. Food is so-so, but drinks, sunset, activities, and live music are excellent. Shopping and great drive of mini-mansions in the surrounding areas.

The Oasis is a place to see sunset on Lake Travis. If you are in Austin that is a must to see view, even though the water level is too low for years. Because the location is right facing the west, the sunset is gorgeous. However, it is extremely crowded during the weekend starts on Fri. and the summer is... More

I live right down the road and every single time I have been to The Oasis (since the early 90's), I have been disappointed with the quality of the food. It just isn't good. I haven't had anything there that I have liked. The restaurant is beautiful. The view is beautiful. The drinks are pretty darned good, but expensive. It's... More

If you are in the Austin, TX area, it's worth the drive to The Oasis. They have lots of outdoor seating overlooking Lake Travis. The food is good, the service very good, & the view..........wow. Right now the water level is very low due to the drought for the past 5 years or so. Still the view is quite nice.... More

First time at this restaurant and came away amazed at the beautiful sunset views over Lake Travis, but disappointed at the food quality and quantity. Had the " colossal" (menu word) bacon wrapped shrimp with rice and vegetables. The shrimp were anything but colossal, rice was average, and the vegetables were mainly carrots with three chunks of yellow squash for... More

GREAT VIEWS and Beautiful Restaurant. The food was good and the waitress was ok. Never refilled our drinks or even brought our food out. the only thing she did was take our order after sitting there for 10 minutes.

The food was good and the gift shop has really cute stuff, but the service was lacking. Our original waitress, Mallory, had a funky attitude. We ended up moving to a different section and Sarah was a great waitress. I loved the salsa and the guacamole and the bean and cheese nachos as appetizers. I also had cheese enchiladas that... More

If your looking for a nice place for an outdoor seating you've found the right place. It is just unfortunate that the condition of the lake because of the persistent drought in Texas add to the meaning of " Oasis ".Given the right status of the lake, it is probably the best place to have lunch leisurely. As to the... More
