The sunsets over the lake are beautiful and if you are there on a holiday there are fireworks on holidays as well. There is usually live music on the weekends and throughout the summer, you can check their website for current entertainment. There are three tiers both inside and out ( outside has umbrellas and fans) Great place to relax... More

I went here as part of my Meet-Up group. The road is twisty and curvy to get back to The Oasis, and the parking was good. There was a lot of empty buildings, as this complex had seen better times. The food I ordered (cheese enchiladas) were at room temperature, not hot as they should've been. Nothing really wrong, I... More

We were looking forward to dinner here on the deck. The hostess took us to a table where the fans are blowing high speed. That isn't enjoyable for a girl with long hair. It isn't even hot out this evening. We asked to sit away from the fans, but she told us she can't sit us there because it is... More

Let's be honest; over the past twenty years, the Oasis has been notorious for its great views and its not-so-great food. However, last year, my family and I visited the remodeled post-fire Oasis Complex (it's like a mini mall now), and were oddly surprised to find that the Texas redfish and sauteed veggies was good. Really good. So good that... More

Basically you are paying for the.view. food is very expensive and done poorly. I would.rate even mcdonalds better. My suggestion is eat somewhere first before coming here. Just come to this place for appetizer and drinknso you can see the view. But dont make a big.mistake to eat here. You will be extremely disappointed.

It was our first time in Austin and we went on a hike around lake travis and this place was the closest place to eat after. WOW are we glad we stopped. The view was spectacular and that was in the middle of the day not at sunset. There is a total lake view which is so great. Loved just... More

Prior to coming here, I read all of the reviews and was so discouraged about what I read regarding the service that I almost decided to pass it up. I'm so glad I didn't! We were here on a Friday night and, although it was busy, we were seated right away and our server brought over ice water and chips... More

We stopped in after a drive around the lake. The chips with their salsa were good. Everything else, not so much. The view was nice, but the food and service were not worth it.

The menu is simple, probably because they have to be able to serve the 5,000 or so dining capacity, but the meals were good, and you can't beat the views

It's been over a year since I've been to the Oasis. It will be over a century till I will go back. The only and I mean only, thing good here is the view. The service is horrible, the food is even worst (that's if you can get served). The prices are way too high. They screwed my family and... More
