Good Texas BBQ!!!

I am not addressing this review to fellow Austinites, those who already know about The County Line BBQ's two locations either on The Hill or on The Lake, or to those with a ton of time on their hands to wait in line at Franklin's. I am reviewing for.those out of towners or the many who are new to... read more

This was only my third time to County Line. I was really looking forward to it. The brisket tacos were some of the best I have had. Lightly sauced with onions and peppers, which I topped off with cheese pico and a spicy salsa. They were fantastic. And it is good my meal was great along with the waitstaff because... More

Pretty average spot--we ordered ribs, chicken, brisket, etc...pretty much everything you could think of, and everything was pretty predictable...not bad, not great.

You won't notice it, but this restaurant easily handles over 500 people. Make a reservation for us close to the water as you can get, and then sit back and enjoy. Careful, the portions down here are enormous – beef ribs are much bigger than the pork ribs we are used to. Great beer, find service, you can hear yourself... More

County Line is set in a great location, in a beautiful part of the city. We did lunch and were seated immediately and our server Hunter was efficient and attentive. I had the pulled pork sadwich which was moist and tasty, loved the BBQ sauce it came with, and the side potato salad was tasty. It's cool to walk down... More

This restaurant was among the top recommended for BBQ in the area. We went with a large group at the recommendation of friends who live locally. We went with a group of 14 and were seated quickly. The place was large and had no problems with the size of our group. As we were such a large group we sampled... More

Possibly the best stuffed potatoes you could ever find! And the homemade bread is a must. We tried the peppered turkey and the sausage, loved them both!! The beans were the only thing that were just "ok", everything else was great! AND they have a great on-line order system too!

This was my first visit to a County Line BBQ but not the last. This restaurant is right on the lake/creek and is awesome. There is outdoor seating and a lower indoor area with great views. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad. The pulled pork was piled high on a big soft bun with a cup of... More

This is one of the best BBQ places in TX. We had a great visit to County Line and had a group of 8 to dine together and had family style and allowed the staff to bring lots of options to the table for us to sample and enjoy. The brisket, pork, sausage, ribs, and everything else was fantastic. The... More

Sure it may appear a little kitschy or touristy but they sure know how to cook. We sampled all their meats. Left stuffed and satisfied. I'd go again in a heartbeat.
