Great place to eat

This place is delicious! I always order the marbled brisket plate, so good. it is costly, but you get a lot of food. One daughter loves the sausage, the other loves the giant beef rib. You really can't go wrong. Im not a big bean fan, but they are good. this is the only place I eat cole slaw... read more

Begin by taking a little drive just out of the city of Austin TX. As you get closer, look off to your left for wonderful views. You can see for miles. From the outside this restaurant looks like ramshackle buildings pushed or connected together. And that's about what they are. And that is part of the charm. Walk inside, and greeted... More

Got there at 7:30PM on a Saturday night. Waited about 45 minutes for a table for 4. Unless you have a large group you can't get a reservation. But beer by the river was enjoyable while we waited for our table. A pity that all of the smoked prime rib was gone by the time we ordered at 8:30. Also... More

You know if you are going to a function at a restaurant you are going to get chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. Got to go to the County Line for a function, just knew the fare would be something other than the standard. For starters, we had the food served family style, you have to love that. The delicious... This was only my third time to County Line. I was really looking forward to it. The brisket tacos were some of the best I have had. Lightly sauced with onions and peppers, which I topped off with cheese pico and a spicy salsa. They were fantastic. And it is good my meal was great along with the waitstaff because... More

Pretty average spot--we ordered ribs, chicken, brisket, etc...pretty much everything you could think of, and everything was pretty predictable...not bad, not great.

I am not addressing this review to fellow Austinites, those who already know about The County Line BBQ's two locations either on The Hill or on The Lake, or to those with a ton of time on their hands to wait in line at Franklin's. I am reviewing for.those out of towners or the many who are new to the... More

You won't notice it, but this restaurant easily handles over 500 people. Make a reservation for us close to the water as you can get, and then sit back and enjoy. Careful, the portions down here are enormous – beef ribs are much bigger than the pork ribs we are used to. Great beer, find service, you can hear yourself... More

County Line is set in a great location, in a beautiful part of the city. We did lunch and were seated immediately and our server Hunter was efficient and attentive. I had the pulled pork sadwich which was moist and tasty, loved the BBQ sauce it came with, and the side potato salad was tasty. It's cool to walk down... More

This restaurant was among the top recommended for BBQ in the area. We went with a large group at the recommendation of friends who live locally. We went with a group of 14 and were seated quickly. The place was large and had no problems with the size of our group. As we were such a large group we sampled... More
