Great Rehearsal Dinner Experience

We went to The County Line for my friend's wedding rehearsal dinner. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They had an awesome room with enough room to fit around 40 people. Way too much barbecue! But the food tasted great and it was an excellent experience.

Great food and service. Visiting Texas for the first time. Was at night, so no opinion on the views, but the food was hearty and well seasoned. I had the Memphis ribs and my brother had the baby backs. The Memphis were excellent. The baby backs were OK, but I've had better. The sides were very tasty. I had a... More

Good food, great service and beautiful surroundings. A group of more then 50 of us visited the County Line the other day for lunch. The staff handled the group very well and to my knowledge no orders were messed up. I had the 3 meat plate and ordered two sausage and a lean brisket. Was served a large plate of... More

This is a long established restaurant with a pleasant setting on a creek. Almost every table seems to have a nice view of the patio and the lovely creek canyon. Parking is plentiful and the restaurant is fairly large (i.e., easy to deal with). The portions are probably larger than they need to be and the taste is "average" for... More

This is a wonderful place, right on the lake. Great wait staff. Very friendly and my granddaughters were surprised how fast the food came out. I absolutely loved their cole slaw and potato salad. I'm sorry I didn't ask for some to take home. After dinner we went down to the water and my granddaughters purchased some fish food to... More

Arrived late at night & still experienced a friendly reception. Enjoyed Mushrooms appetizer & Brisket as entree - both great choices! Enjoyed the service & dining experience in a casual setting; perfect for family get-togethers....Will return.

They have eating inside and out on a deck by Bull Creek as it feeds into Lake Austin. Some of my friends are scared off by the menu which lists meals with ginormous amounts of food. It doesn't say it on the menu and I usually order "a la carte" and get exactly what and how much I want to... More

They say everythings bigger in Texas and that's sure true here. Portions are huge. I had the beef ribs easily could have shared it. Order the special bread! It was incredible! Service was excellent. View was wonderful. Got here just about sunset. Perfect timing.

With the array of amazing BBQ joints in the area, one would be crazy to think that this is the best out here and to be disappointed that it isn't. That being said, the food is decent and the atmosphere is better. We love bringing guests here to be on the lake, feed the turtles and fish, and even enjoy... More

BBQ is the food Central Texas is most famous for, and County Line fits the bill. Ribs, brisket (get the fatty brisket) ad sausage are all terrific. Be forewarned: some of the platters have portions that could serve 3 people. But the Staff is good, the to-go containers are fee, and you WILL want to keep the leftovers! Just a... More
