My husband had the brisket, I had the baby back ribs. We shared the potatoes, cole slaw and banana pudding. Just terrific. Will go back.

Rudy's has some of the best and excellent selection of barbecue and accessories around. Great service, always smiling and happy. Much better than the touted barbecue in Lockhart. I always buy extra to freeze and take back to Washington State.

I really like Rudy's because of the variety of food. I like that the brisket is either juicy, medium or extra lean (your choice). I like the baby back ribs, and the sides are all delicious. I will return again. Don't think it's not good because it's connected to a gas station.

This is a go-to spot for great BBQ! Yes most people have their niche favorites but Rudy's is consistent and solidly good. If you're in the mood and see a Rudy's sign you know you will be taken care of. I come to this one regularly and it always meets my expectations.

I have to say- I understand the "Wal-mart of BBQ" comment in another review- but if you ask for juicy brisket, and add some of their sauce to their pretty well done BBQ, you have to admit- it's good. Keep in mind, they have reasonable lines, and don't run out of what you wanted to order. It's a little pricey... More

This place is great, love to stop here when I'm in Austin. It is very fast paced and load while ordering so you got know what you want when it's your time to order. Be careful trying different items, you will easily over-stuff yourself. All the food is great. I've been exploring the menu and never disappointed.

This place is just around the corner from me so I've eaten here many times. Rudy's does have good BBQ and I love there sauce, but this place is just one of many in a chain of restaurants. When I have so many places in Austin to enjoy good BBQ, I usually only eat here because it's right on my... More

It may not be the best bbq in town, especially with as many players as you have in Austin. But is consistently really good, really fast, really courteous, and reminiscent of old school bbq places. Eat in, take out. Load up on meats, pickles, onions and bread then augment with slaw and banana pudding. Chances are there is one near... More

Never disappointed in the quality of bar-b-q when we eat at Rudy's. Love the smoked baked potato served at other Rudy's but this particular item is not offered at the Austin chain. Regardless, it's top notch and we eat there every time we make it to Austin.

This is easiest Austin's best brisket (the extra-moist). I have enjoyed it for years and it always delivers! A perfect meal for an out - of -state visitor! The creamed corn is a very good side. For those who are "no-beef eaters" , there is the tender, moist and tasty turkey. Another menu high hitter. You will not be let... More
