We have eaten at Rudy's several times and have never been disappointed. Everything is hot and fresh. The sides are to die for especially the creamed corn! My husbands favorite is the brisket and mine is the smoked turkey. We always bring back home plenty of Rudy's sauce and rubs. Love this place!!

Have been making trips to Austin once a year for the past 4 years and this is the place I always stop at after landing and before heading to the hotel. I've tried a couple of other BBQ places in Austin and while all are good in their own way, Rudy's is still my favorite. Typical order is moist brisket,... More

Might not the first choice, but interesting way to eat. The beef pretty tasty, just not a fan of eating meat with white bread(?) (I like hamburger tho). But the price is good, and you should try if you haven't.

OMG. The Brisket is to die for. Especially the lean brisket. It's a busy place and a very casual atmosphere. They sell their barbecue sauce and seasoning. They also do smoked turkey and that is VERY good as well. A must to go to if you are in Austin.

This is a great place for some excellent food. I had Brisket and pulled pork. The atmosphere is country store/picnic table style eats. The pulled pork is the best I have ever had BAR NONE. Super moist and tender and just the right amount of sauce in it. The (moist brisket) is the best brisket as well, very good flavor... More

This guys are fast and efficient. Food is very good, the extra-moist Briskest are the best. Jalapeno sausage is really good and not too hot.

If visiting Austin, you must go to Rudy's for true Texan Barbecue food. It's not pretentious (you eat off paper) but the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Try the brisket - it's heavenly!

My family stopped by here as per our extended family's urging, and we were not disappointed. If you admit to being new at the counter the cashier will let you sample the different meats and sides that they are serving. I liked the extra lean brisket as well as the sauce. You can get as much bread, onions and pickles... More

Hands down the best BBQ I've ever had. Spent an entire week in Texas eating bbq (Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Ft Worth) and the extra moist brisket at Rudys is the best bbq I've ever had anywhere! Great prices as well! The brisket had a nice smoke ring & crusty on the outside, yet just melted in your mouth! Don't... More

Took my son and his gf there for the first time, and all I can say is...I WANT MORE! By far the best brisket I've ever had. Loved the fact they have varying degrees of "juiciness". They also give you samples if you'd like. So tender, the slight smokiness, and dripping with juicy goodness! The sides are great too, not... More
