I made my first visit recently and I was happy with it. The food was good, the margaritas were good, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the location was perfect. Being on 6th puts you right night to almost anything you want to do. We were catching a show at Mohawk this was a great deal (just a few... More

We stopped in on a Friday night before Esther's Follies which is right across the street. The staff were all very friendly and our server was extremely pleasant and helpful even though he was very busy. The pitcher of frozen margaritas is a good deal and well made. We loved our food. I had the shrimp fajitas which was perfectly... More

We popped in for lunch on a Friday and was surprised how quiet the place was. The food was above-average Mexican fare, with fresher ingredients and a better presentation. Our party had soup, quesadilla and enchilada, and we were all pleased with our selections. Our only complaint was that soda prices were very high, and I don't believe the waitress... More

Mid-week this was a quiet place, but the food was pretty good. The mole enchiladas were good, and the rice was fresh. The service was average and our server didn't really warm up until the food was served.

Word of advice. If you don't like spicy food don't eat here. I had the pork enchiladas and I repeated them for hours with horrible heartburn. Black beans and rice were good. Was up most of the night and nothing usually bothers me.

The food here was very tasty and well-prepared. I highly recommend the chicken mole. The service was attentive and cheerful. We were there for an early dinner, so the place was quiet, but they were setting up for a concert. Wish we could have gone back.

Some mates & I shared our last meal in Austin here & it was plain old "okay" with above average okay prices. It's really fast food served on a plate, nothing that "wowed" us, but didn't insult us either.

Authentic...good food. Nice presentation. But there is something bla about it. Salsa is great. I had chicken mole. Mole I'll s hard to find good mole and their was good. But the chicken was cold..thin and fatty. Prices are reasonable if not a bit high. Chicken mole was around 13 bucks. Not a lot of food for the price.

After walking down E. 6th Street in Austin, Texas for 45 minutes, my wife and I discovered this restaurant. It literally was the sun and the moon. The homemade guacamole and salsa rocked the taste buds The taco's completed the symphony..

There was a lot to like about this restaurant. The decor was pretty, the food was delicious, and the service was good. I ordered a vegetarian platter (even though I'm not vegetarian) with black beans, yellow rice, and plantains, and I enjoyed it very much. The complementary chips & salsa were great, too. I'd definitely come back again.
