Wonderful pizza spot

Frank and Angies has been around for many years now but it retains the same delicious quality as when it opened. The atmosphere is pleasant, pictures of all sorts adorn the walls. The service was good, our waitress was attentive and prompt. Parking is ample and feels safe. The pizza itself was... read more

Came here after walking down 6th St. during the day and not finding anything family friendly. This place sounded good and the boys agreed. Pizza was wonderful, wait staff overly friendly and fun. HUGE portions. The four of us, two adults, two kids, split two of the lunch specials and it was more than enough! I would definitely go back... More

If this was a diner I'd like it and rate it accordingly. However, I got the impression Frank & Angie's is supposed to be an Italian place. I had a pizza there and it was ok-ish. Closer to NY Pizza though as you could definitely taste the ketchup in there. But that is not Italian pizza to me. I really... More

The pizza was the best in Texas. Thin crust New York Style. the calzones were stuffed with toppings and enough to share.

Pizza was very tasty and not too expensive. Only had thin and crispy crust which is what I like. Husband order a salad as well and it was enough for 2 as a meal! This is off 6th street but at the other end from where all the bars a re at. It is at the end where more upscale... More

This is a place the locals go for great pizza and great music. The night we were there a balalaika duo was performing. They were amazing. The pizza was hot, good and reasonable priced. The beer was a great price and there was a great selection as well.

Were from NY where they have the best Italian food, plus I'm Italian so... I was looking for a good meatball and I found one. I would probably go for the hoagie instead of their focaccia bread, even though it was good, it wasn't great. Their sauce (gravy) was nice, a little sweet, but had some hardiness too. I'm looking... Usually go here and have spaghetti during a long bike ride - but today we splurged and had a pizza. It was excellent. Service was good, the place wasn't very busy at the time we went so we could easily have a conversation without yelling at each other. Will be back again and again.

I am a pizza snob from the Northeast, so I have different expectations. Went there for a late lunch one afternoon. This is my 3rd visit and I had another pizza. The pizza was very good. My wife has a cheese pie and thought it was only average. (Would rather not go back) My pizza, eggplant, was average to very... More

This place has a very cool, laid back vibe and the pizza was great. You better be hungry if you want the 18" one....it's huge. I would recommend the place to anyone. Incredible place for a late lunch.
