6th st

Nice place to get something to eat on 6th at. We stopped to check out the area which is mostly just bars. I was starving so we gave the Iron Cactus a try. The Texas Tini was yummy and the burrito excellent.

Our second visit this week and I'm so impressed! The quality of food is very very good and service fast and efficient. They had a long wait time on getting a table because a few employees didn't show up for work on a very busy Saturday. There was immediate seating in the bar so we chose a table there. A... More

Went to a few different places to eat. By far the best service the two times that we went. I wanted a t shirt. Which They had discontinued. Manager sold me an Iron Cactus Staff shirt. Which he did not have to do. Rare to see folks go out of their way to make customers happy. Will go again next... More

My husband and I went for lunch today and sat outside upstairs. We liked the atmosphere but the food didn't live up to my expectations. It was ok, just not great. Good people watching on the street so I was definitely entertained. Good selection of margs, try one. You can't go wrong!

We wandered in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was tasty and cooked just right. Even the ffresh fish my husband ordered. I tried the house margarita at the servers suggestion and found it delightful an light. It is a charming restaurant on San Jacinto which has more than it share of dive bars. Great for people... I love tex-mex and this did not satisfy any cravings for such. I had enchiladas which were surprisingly bland. The waiter basically said everything was great and was of no help. It was more of a sports bar than great food as many reviews claimed.

I didn't read the reviews before heading in, but I would not have thought our experience would be so terrible based on how good ratings are... The food was ok, our service was pretty good and the location is in the heart of Austin - be aware of parking limitations. Our main complaint - how about not doing construction above... More

It was a beautiful day on 6th St and my friends and I were hungry for some lunch. We noticed this place because we were in the mood for Tex Mex and it had a large outdoor eating area. We came for the outdoor dining experience, stayed for the tasty Mexican dishes (I had the fish tacos) and then stayed... More

We hosted a celebratory dinner for a professional colleague here on March 25, 2015. Our group event was on the Mezzanine and had 27 guests. The staff was very professional and tended to our needs throughout the evening. Food was terrific and well-priced for both the quantity and quality. I would highly recommend this venue and would use again in... More

Group of friends--- we all ordered different margaritas and they were amazing! I had the Agave one, amazing. Food was decent--- I had the taco salad with grilled shrimp and it was delicious-- the jalepeno ranch was perfect. Would go back--- great tequila selection and a GREAT rooftop spot overlooking 6th street bars
