We stopped off for lunch after going on the duck tour, the driver recommended it. It is a lovely old building, we decided to make the most of the good weather and sat outside on the patio, we were given popcorn while looking at the menu, never had that before but made a nice change, we shared a main and... The spread is located in two rooms and the portions of the items are bite size so you don't feel so guilty. I would pass on the flavorless Bloody Mary's.

This bar and grill is set in a unique historic building that expands out on to patios and a courtyard. Menu offerings are also unique and far from ordinary. Close by Convention Center and Four Seasons Hotel. Worth a visit for a unique change of pace.

Dinner and Brunch have all been a delicious experience! Popcorn when seated, great variety and unique menu selections. Even have moonshine on the bar menu.

I love this restaurant when I am in need of comfort food. It has great ambiance, very good food and pretty decent service. I usually only visit this restaurant with my husband and leave the kids at home; mostly because you always have to wait for seating and it is easier to get a table for two rather than five.... More

Good food, great location - ask to see the Sunday House (small venue for private parties) and get an explanation of what a Sunday House is. Have the Red Velvet Cake for dessert - about 8 layers with creme cheese icing - yum!

Sit outside if it is nice - in Austin it is nice 95% of the time. There are meny interesting selections on the menu and they are all good. I've been there for lunch and dinner - for business and for a night out with my wife - its always great. . .

We've been here many times. When friends come to Austin this is one of our first stops. Food is great lunch, dinner or party time. Good beer and wine selections. I've tried most everything and all were great. Sometimes it can be a little spicy depending on the cook that day. Great old building built by Germans many years ago...unique.... More

Casual, fun, good for groups (birthday parties). Food is definitely southern/Texan. My company took a whole group of folks in from outside the states. We sat on the patio, the weather was lovely and they have great drinks. Everyone loved it. I don't give it 5 stars b/c the wait can be long and the parking really stinks in that... More
