I made reservations here for a 21-person Bachelorette Party that I was hosting in Austin. We are all from out of town and did not know what to expect but the restaurant had been recommended to us by some locals. I made reservations well in advance, and the Roaring Fork was more than accommodating. From past experience, I know how... More

Highly recommend Roaring Fork's 7th Street venue. Outstanding service and outstanding food. We loved the cornbread muffins, as well as the fish tacos, the carnitas, and the bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin with cheese grits and corn. We were there on a Wednesday night, and the place was definitely roaring.

We had walked passed this place a few times and looked nice so thought we would give it a go. I do not have a bad word to say. From the moment we entered our server Robert was brilliant. Myself and my partner had chosen what to eat, but then Robert mentioned that they has a 22oz on the bone... More

Excellent selection and the food is always prepared to your taste. From steak to a burger you can't go wrong.

At the end of the night, my husband and I were looking for a scrumptious meal to complete our evening. The atmosphere was slightly more on the fine dining side; however, the food was great and the service was very professional. For us it was worth paying a little extra money for the quality expereince.

The wait staff was great, and very polite. I had the steak, let me tell you, that was one of the largest and best cooked steaks i've ever had. The price was very high, but so worth it. excellent experience

While staying at the nearby Omni, we chose to eat at the Roaring Fork for its proximity and promise of wood fired steak. We had low expectations since we weren't choosing based on reviews. It was crowded and loud, and we had to eat at a bar table. After a little wait at first, service was timely and polite. Food... More

So- there on a business trip, and heard this was good. We were NOT disappointed. Looks like a classy joint (white linen tablecloths, ambient lighting, soft music, etc) but on the bar side, they were playing 90's hip hop and people were having (what appeared to be), a super sweet time. I can't even tell you what all we ordered;... More

The food (braised beef ) was not the best I have ever had but I was more disturbed by the service. 20+ minutes for the drink we ordered, and it just seemed we were a bother to the server. They did take the mistakes off the bill but that wasn't the point, the point was a nice dining experience. They... More
