Great pecan pie!

Started by sharing a crabcake appetiser which delicious (I wished I had it all to myself). I had a the burger which was served, as requested, beautifully rare. My partner had the pork shoulder which was equally good, although the portion was a little large so I had to help out. A couple of glasses... read more

They accommodated our large group without a reservation. The food was good, but not the best in Austin. Convenient, as it is in the Intercontinental, where we stayed. Not open for breakfast.

My friend and I had a hard time finding open reservations in Austin between it being MDW and UT Austin graduation weekend... We found a gem when we found an open time slot at the Roaring Fork. We had the Mexican martini, Huckleberry margarita and Cointreau float margarita. Them we had the tortilla coup, green chili mac and cheese and... More

We followed the Trip Advisor recommendations for the highest rated restaurant near us. Thank you, Trippers!! Wonderful service at a great Texas steakhouse. Very pleasant combination of casual being Ok with a nice touch of class if that's what you want. Good wine list. Superb filet with Texas veggie specialties. Service knew when to ask, knew when to let us... More

Both the service and food at this restaurant were excellent. The dishes were creative, delicious and something for all. Definitely don't miss the creme brulee!

We had our best meal in Austin here. They were super busy, but handled it with ease. The lamb fondue appetizer was a perfect start. We all got fish selections and they were each dishes of perfection. The trout was probably the best, then the red fish and then the halibut they had as a special. But all of them... More

Had a wonderful dinner with colleagues at Roaring Fork. It is definitely for the carnivorous, especially for red meat lovers. I am not a big red meat fan but I found plenty to enjoy. I actually had a well-prepared tortilla soup and a steak salad. And I will say, the steak was perfection. This restaurant shows other steak houses how... More

This is one of my favorite places for happy hour in Austin. They have a great atmosphere and menu. Their cocktails are excellent and I haven't had a single appetizer I didn't love. I highly recommend the green chili pork stew and the guacamole. The downtown location is great, but there's also one in northwest Austin that has the same... More

I was at the Roaring Fork waiting for friends and say at the bar while my party arrives the couple next to me ordered a hamburger. They had something hard in their meat and the fries were not good, however the Bartender addressed both items and brought them new fries. I enjoyed my meal but when I ordered a cappuccino... More

Nice wooden bar. Had dinner with my GF there for a romantic meal. Had the short ribs and planked Salmon. Very good.
