Even tho we made a reservation and some of the party was there on time they were told they couldn't be seated until all 20 guests arrived ! Parking is insane so why make us all wait? Was there for my son's birthday ended up ordering over $400 in food and drinks . The food wasn't as good as it... More

One of our local favorites and we always leave with a smile on our face! Daniel E was a fabulous waiter and tended to our every need and wish. We normally order our dessert to go and in our "happy stupor" after a great meal, we left our leftovers and the desserts there. They put it aside in the fridge.... More

I never miss an opportunity to eat at least one meal at Pappadeaux when I visit Austin, and it has never disappointed me. Friendly waitstaff, great atmosphere, and absolutely outstanding food. On this trip I had the blackened catfish and creme brulee, which is just about the best thing I've ever tasted in my life! Mmmmm!

Everything was excellent. Restaurant was crowded, lunchtime, however no wait seating, great service & yummy food!

Stopped by for dinner while on a business trip. Luckily we arrived (6pm) before the rush. By the time we had our delicious Calamari; the place was almost full. Had the Costa Rican Mahi and the Grilled Salmon. Glad I didn't order the 11 oz. as the 7 oz was more than enough. Great toppings! If you are coming from... More

The seafood grill was lovely, but the bar was slow, in the number of patrons, and thus surprisingly the service as well. It took a full ten minutes to be acknowledged, but the bartender engaged in quite a bit of conversation and continued to serve alcohol to a very drunk VERY LOUD young woman (this was at lunch). The food... More

The food here is always amazing. Been here a number of times and the food is always top notch and the service very good. This time I had the lobster bisque and Atlantic salmon Yvette. Perfection. I highly recommend it. Though a bit pricier than many restaurants it's definitely worth it! Great atmosphere too!

This was our second trip to Pappadeaux's during our visits to Austin. Good food within walking distance of our favorite hotel

This place never disappoints! We had heard that they went through a rough spell this year with a possible change of management (?) when the food was not as well-prepared. However, we go every year for our Christmas Eve anniversary, and this year was just as good or better! My husband loves the Mahi Alexander, and I love the blackened... More
