Business meal. Too loud in the lounge area (for business, fine for a social gathering) but got a dinner table without much of a wait (and no reservation). Service is 87 out of 100. Atmosphere is very nice. Went for the bone in rib-eye (not the tomahawk) and it was properly marbled. 50% inedible... read more

We dined at the Arboretum location in Austin and have dined at the Fort Worth location. Food, service, and ambience are consistently great at all locations. We were there for a special night out following our recent marriage and everything was amazing. They have a wonderful menu--we both had seafood, and the celebratory dessert (bananas foster) was complimentary since we... More

Very nice and high end restaurant in Austin. I really enjoyed the food here. The tuna tartare was phenomenal. My filet mignon with crab meat was very good as well. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meal. I would return.

What a crazy combination - calamari & Kung Pao - but they work really well together. The calamari was lightly fried & delicate. Then it was served over cellophane noodles and then veggies and cashew nuts in a Kung Pao spicey sauce were drizzled over the top (watch out for the red hot peppers). Outstanding! And priced right at happy... More

Saturday evening in Austin--tired and worn out--found Eddie V's around the corner from our Hotel. Buddy wanted seafood and boy did we land in the right spot. Crab cakes to begin with and my mouth is watering writing this. We both had a dish--red fish and grouper and we shared. Can't say which was better but cooked as good as... More

My husband and I go here for birthdays, our anniversary, and celebrating any new milestone or accomplishment. We've tried other similar places in Austin, but none ever compare so why go anywhere else? Also, the all day happy hour in the bar on Sundays is excellent for any occasion.

Great atmosphere and excellent food! A must try in Austin! A bit pricey but worth it. Music on weekends and some weeknights.

The food here is very good and has some interesting combinations and flavors. While the entrees are reasonably expensive, the extra charge for any sides is what really drives the tab up. Nice atmosphere and good (but not great) service. There were times when there were people filling water glasses or cleaning up plates very quickly and what seemed like... More

This is the third time I have been to Eddie V's. Yes it is close to the Four Seasons where I like to stay, but there are many other nice choices also within walking distance of that hotel. I enjoy the live music in the bar---the bartenders have always been very friendly, and thus I have eaten at the bar... More
