Amazing!

Food was exquisite! I had the fried calamari and lobster tails. Service was superb! Never had to ask for anything. It's like they read our minds haha Prices are high, but it's worth it for the food and service you get.

We went here for happy hour on a Saturday afternoon, and were just as happy as we always are with the Houston location we frequent. Their crab cake and Bananas Foster are the best you will find anywhere.

Very professional staff and wonderful bar. Excellent seafood. One of the few places I have ever been to where the bartender introduces himself to you before you order a drink!

I ate here last year when visiting family in Austin. It is very nice inside, and the food is good. However, I'm marking this review down because of the experience I had. I ordered tuna (which is not even on the menu anymore) and the server said "Chef sears the outside then leaves it raw inside." I asked the server... More

The food was amazing (steak and sea bass were winners!) and we had the friendliest waiter ever. He was super attentive and charming. Made great dinner recommendations. The restaurant is in a fun part of town. No complaints. Would eat there again in a minute!

I'd heard good things about this restaurant. It's sort of a Chart House copy. Waiters are in tuxedos which was a nice touch. I ordered the steak raw hoping to get medium raw and instead got blue, ice cold in the middle. The lobster bisque was a wonderful flavor but was also served just a tad cold. The waiter very... More

Eddie V's is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. I lived in NYC for over 13 years and you don't get much better than this. I love the atmosphere. Romantic and elegant. For that special evening I can't think of a better place to go. The steak is outstanding.

There is no rival to the happy hour menu at Eddie V's, not to mention it happens 7 days a week! Recently featured by the chefs for $5 each, we tried the gruyere potato fritters, and the crispy shrimp kataifi served with red chili jelly. Absolutely AH-mazing! The shrimp was fried to prefection, and the kataifi crust strings yielded a... More

The food was fine; nothing note-worthy. My biggest dissatisfaction was the seating/atmosphere. They had a long row of tables (two seaters) down the middle of the restaurant and it felt like I was sitting on top of the couples next to us. For the kind of prices they were charging, I would have appreciated a more intimate, date-like experience.

Our last night in Austin we wanted to eat someplace special and found Eddie V's. We arrived at the early dining based on other reviews and sat in the lounge. It was Happy Hour! We started off with $2 off drinks and $5 apps. The crab cake is amazing. It's not on the happy hour menu but well worth the... More
