The best meal we have had in a long term. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they were wonderful. The happy hour menu was very reasonable, and all the dishes were delicious. Shawn K, our server, was particularly good. Very attentive and helpful.

We had "dinner" in the bar during their Happy Hour before heading over to Esther's Follies on 6th Street. We enjoyed a tasty assortment of appetizers and drinks, enjoyed the great atmosphere, and then walked it off on the way to the show. Eddie V's is consistently one of the best places to grab a quality meal....even in the bar.

I went to happy hour with a group of friends last Friday and did not regret going to this place. The ambience was amazing and the staff was even better. We had the oysters, crab cake, scallops and aha tuna tartar. It was so delicious we couldn't stop, so dessert was next. The Godiva chocolate cake and the banana foster... More

This is our third time to go to Eddie V's. I realize there are many choices of restaurants in Austin but between the service and the food here, it is hard for us to want to go somewhere else. This has to be one of the best happy hours if you are looking for something better then just typical bar... More

The food was very good, the service was slow and it was quite loud the night we were there. There were several large parties, which made it quite noisy and detracted from any sense of intimacy. We started with the crab cakes, which were delicious. I had the fliet with some shrimp and my wife ordered the Louisiana Red Fish... More

Several old friends met in Austin. We had one of the best restaurant meals I have had in.a long time. We all had seafood and exchanged tastes. Scallops, Louisiana Redfish and Ahi Tune were all fresh, perfectly prepared and wonderfully sauced. Any of the dishes could have been used a a model for a menu photograph. Our waiter was knowledgeable,... More

We chose this place after arriving in Austin in the evening and wanted something walkable from our Omni hotel. It's about a block from the party atmosphere of 6th St. and has a lovely, quiet, (dark) dining room. Servers walk around with little lights to help diners read the menu. Our service was friendly and attentive. The food, as expected,... More
