If you aren't much into BBQ, the Iron Works may be fine. We didn't think it was that great. Average price, average food. Nothing real bad about it, but we've had better barbeque in other places. Iron Works has very flavorful BBQ made with quality meat and cooked in honest to God old smoking pits! You taste the meat and not some funky foo-foo "flavoring." This place is a typical, almost cliche BBQ place. The brisket sandwiches are pretty damn good. The spicy sauce was my favorite. This was my favorite BBQ place within Austin city limits.
