We have been fans of Sweetish Hill since we first came to Austin. Whenever I drive south on Mopac, I try to stop in on the return trip. Definitely the best "sticky buns" in town!

I suppose you go to a restaurant for the food, and that can't be faulted here. Soups, sandwiches, and of course the bakery items are fresh and delicious, visit after visit. Service, however, is a frequent fail. Finally decided to write a review today after the counter person did not even make eye contact as she took my order, stopped... More

It is one of the best cafes in Austin, cool, unpretentious, non-hipster just normal cafe that would belong in Europe if it would not be just off of west 6th St. The bakery offering is awesome and I had some almond filled croissant that had filling in it for every single bite. Yummm!

I've had Sweetish Bakery catering several times now since it is the go to catering business for UT Law, and I have to say that it is very tasty from its standard sandwich box (sandwich on whole wheat, 9 grain or white bread) fruit cup, Lay's chips, and cookie to its gluten free options. It has a wonderful reputation so... More

Located between two great art galleries - Russell Collection across the street and Wally Workman half a block up the street, and with a fantastic seafood restaurant nearby, Clark's Oyster Bar, this is a wonderful place to relax and take care of your "sweet tooth" - - and to bring home some great bread and desserts. Well worth the trip... More

Lots of lovely pastry choices and excellent coffee. They have other things as well like sandwiches and salads but I have not ever tried them. I bought cakes from them for years when I was needing them, and they were always spectacular. Cute spot in the middle of a few of my favorite browsing shops.

Since my kids were little, it has always been our tradition to visit Sweetish Hill Bakery to celebrate a good check-up at the dentist. The decorated cookies are always beautiful.

I love the small café atmosphere. Their coffee is very good and usually have an organic offering each day. They make bagels, which are called bialys, although these are smaller and somewhat lighter than your typical bagel. My favorite thing to get so far has been the Morning Glory Muffin, which is essentially a carrot cake in muffin form. It's... More

All their cookies are good buy I like their bee-sting cookie the best! I also tried their pesto chicken sandwich and it was ok.
