very dirty - platter food is good

the place is very dirty. However, the combo kabab is good and fresh. So, if you can tolerate a real messy bathroom and all in all dirtiness, the kabobs are good. They make it fresh.

I went here with a friend knowing that it would be cheap - and feeling cheap myself since I was going to pay and I didn't really want to. Great, the price has gone up. The food was pretty much the same - average as my Mom would say - but half the dishes were missing. And stayed missing while... More

Went for first time today with my teen son. The ambiance is not exactly what you'd take a hot date to. But no matter, at $6.99 for the buffet it was great. I love Indian food and it seems to be getting spendy the past few years. This place is far from spendy - it is positively inexpensive. Service is... More

The ambiance and service could be better - their food is on the cheaper side and apparently half the clientele don't like to tip - which limits the quality of the wait staff. The portions are usually bigger than you'd expect. That said, I'd suggest ordering: Nihari, Haleem, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Karahi and the Shalimar Grilled Platter... Better if you... More

Only one good thing on menu : Tandoori Chicken Leg (from menu, not buffet). w/Naan. Rest of the stuff is greasy. Service is poor. Ambiance is very average. But the tandoori chicken is the best (best in Austin). In the buffet they put the worst tandoori chicken, so do not eat from there. Chicken biryani is also pretty good.

Horrible food in Lunch buffet. No spices, horrible service, Waiters dont come to you ever without you calling them. Owners are always loud, not allowing you to enjoy a peaceful meal Ambience is very sub Standard. Located in a very Shabby and very very Dirty complex. I love Indian food, but I will never go back to this place. I... More
