The best day is Thursday when Kay is running the Baez. Many regulars are there then and she is an expert on the food available that day. The best seats in the house are at the bar on that day. See you there!

Been here a few times with family including tots. The food has always been good, though the weekend brunch generally is best. Portions are generous and there are plenty of Cajun selections as well as a good kids menu. It's a strip mall so as you would expect not exactly atmospheric. Interesting art on the walls though. Good value.

I am from south Louisiana, though I've lived in Texas for 25 years. Every now and then, I get a craving for a good po-boy. There are three Creole/Cajun restaurants close to where I live. I've tried them all. My favorite by far is Cypress Grill. When I get that craving for a po-boy, that's where I go. The most... More

Found this restaurant on Open Table and close to our hotel in SW Austin. It's in a strip center, poor acoustics and comfort. But the food and drinks were good, fresh gulf shrimp, crawfish, seafood gumbo. The bread pudding was outstanding!!! If ambiance better I'd have rated it with an extra star.

Loved their cocktail menu more than their food. They offer high end scotch selection and craft cocktail creations that I was dying to try. Brunch offered a grapefruit ruby red vodka with champagne that was very good. We split a eggs benedict style dish with crayfish etoufee. The english muffin could have been more toasted but other than that, delish.... More

We had a decent meal here for lunch, it was good, but not exciting enough to return soon. For my taste the food was a bit on the bland side. Service was acceptable. Prices felt a bit on the high side for the food and service.

We have been eating here for years! It just keeps getting better and better! The p'boys are fantastic and toasted perfectly. I hate salads but I really like theirs. Try the catfish and cole slaw. What a treat. Best seat in the house is at the bar.

Was taken here by family. Drove up to the shopping center and didn't know what to think. Wow, was I surprised. Blackened catfish, crawfish, and shrimp were ordered. Everything was spot on and the service was impeccable. If you are in south Austin, this is the place.
