I was glad everyone agreed on Take Out. The restaurant was packed and the people at the tables had mounds of food to put away. As with other Asian restaurants, we had a variety of meals that we all shared back at the house. Much to my surprise, every dish was tasty. It is unfortunate that I did not remember... More

We have visited this restaurant in Sep 2013, and based upon our previous experience, we visited this again Mar 2014. The food is good and quite sumuptous too! Last time we went, it was a saturday evening, there was a bit of rush. We had to wait for at least 45 mins before we got our order. Overall it is... More

Seems to have all the standard Vietnamese dishes, but it also has other Asian fare. I had the green curry and it was a bigger portion and tastier than other Thai places I've been in town. There's a patio out front and a lunch buffet. Prices are very reasonable. Like many hidden gems, it's tucked away in a strip mall... More

Great service. A diverse menu and we ordered 5 items, all of which were too sweet. Needs to be more authentically asian in taste.

Having been raised in a city where food is a religion and when people wait in line for a restaurant it is actually good, I am constantly disappointed in Austin's food and restaurants. I do however believe there are some very quality inexpensive ethnic restaurants hiding in the different neighborhoods if you're willing to step out of line from Hopdaddy... More

I would give it 5 stars but they took away the outdoor seating! Still love the food and the hospitality. The food quality is second to none. It's fast and inexpensive. You can't beat a 7 dollar buffet! There buffet is great and I hate buffets!

The menu here is extensive, offering a variety of Thai and Vietnamese dishes. I was spoilt for choice. The food may not be entirely authentic but neither is it watered down and Americanised. We had the duck wrap, green curry, tom yam soup and thai style red snapper. All the dishes were tasty, especially the fish which I had my... More

Had the Panang Red Curry....great!! Though the menu said it was "3 peppers hot" (3 being hottest. Not very hot to me...next time I order a 3-pepper dish, I'll ask for a 5. And there WILL be a next time!! They are open late and have a very extensive menu!

Upon the recommendation of two employees of the Omni Southpark Hotel in Austin, Texas, we dined at the 888 Vietnamese Restaurant. While not located in the nicest areas of Austin, this restaurant provides friendly service and delicious food. After some appetizers, my colleague had the KungPao Chicken with white rice and I had the KungPao Beef with brown rice. The... More

We went there because a local relative recommended it. It was really good, specially the yellow curry. Do not mind the looks of the restaurant (renew the menus!). The service was so - so
