“Not good Mex food in Austin”

Enchiladas were cold, sauce tasted like pizza sauce, margarita was salty and not tasty, blah beans, blah rice, chips were like tostitos....the salsa was good, the waiter was good. I will not be going back there - I have no idea why it is rated so highly or so popular. more

I have a group of friends and every year we choose a different type of food to investigate in Austin. Last year it was Mexican food and Polvo's won hands down. Best food, best value, best margarita, best meat, best sides, you name it. The only thing it's lacking is perfect tortilla chips. I'm a fan of the thinner type... more
