Delicious!!

Hotel recommended - we were wary. DELICIOUS Mexican! Good drinks, service and prices. Seems like locals go here, which makes it even better.

We came because my friend was told they had great ceviche. I don't eat seafood but they told me it was just okay.... nothing to write home about. At first I enjoyed the chips. They serve them warm. however, I started getting some chips that tasted stale and old. It definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't... More

Curra's is not your typical mexican (read: tex-mex) restaurant. It specializes in interior Mexican cuisine. The menu is interesting and diverse, and the food is excellent. The drink menu is also interesting, and I tried the cucumber margarita. Wow! Food was very inexpensive, particularly considering the quality. Also of note - the conchita pibil, a pork leg steamed in a... More

I was seated in the back room, which did not have a pleasant odor. I got used to it, however. My waitress was attentive and courteous. The wait time was good, I didn't feel like it took too long to receive my food. However, the food was average. It was good, but I have definitely had better Mexican food.

We had the blackened fish enchiladas and they were delicious. The rice and beans were also tasty. Unfortunately the place was very unclean. Menus were filthy on the inside. Floor and seats were dirty. Flies were buzzing around inside and the bathroom door didn't close well. My family said they would not go back.

We'd heard excellent things from a friend so we decided to try it. Service was quite good, but the food was really just mediocre; in fact, there is nothing really to report other than this was average, run of the mill Mexican. I'd love to tell you there was a standard dish or appetizer, but it was all just okay.... More

The owner said hello to us to ask if everything was alright. It was great. Had a business lunch. It was quiet enough to have conversation. The food was delicious, really good margaritas and warm chips with good salsa to start with.

We love Curra's and have eaten there many times, at all hours, for years. It's a local Austin hangout, one of the restaurants well known in Austin, a great place to chill. Excellent margaritas, delicious food, laid-back atmosphere (great wall art by local artist Henry Gonzalez.) I's a very Austin place. Let me tell you what I had tonight-- Juliana's... More

Working nearby and needed lunch close to office. Tried Curra's and was very pleasantly surprised. Had the grilled tilapia tacos and they were delish! Chips and salsa were especially good, very fresh. Parking is pretty dicey, but you might luck out as I did. The exterior doesn't seem like much, but it was a good move on our part. Will... More

Hit this place twice during our SXSW visit after long night's out. This is the perfect hangover breakfast/brunch place. The breakfast tacos and burritos and borracho sauce are the best. Get here!
