Typical boutique coffeehouse connected/adjacent to a comedy club/theater. Typical selection for a light breakfast: pastries and bagels. Very nice baristas, but careful they're way more of a hipster than you.

the Hideout was a nice niche for breakfast & coffee! I ate a spinach/egg/cheese 'taco' which was good. reasonably priced, brought my coffee in from somewhere else not knowing i'd find a coffee place close!

After walking around the Capitol, we decided to head downtown. Being coffee lovers, we stepped into this little shop on the way. It was great. The service was perfect and the coffee was quite tasty. They also have a decent selection of beers if you're in the mood for a depressant instead of a stimulant. I would definitely go back.... More

Based off TA reviews, I was excited to drop in and pick up some caffeine while my husband finished work back at the hotel. To be fair, I did not order coffee. I ordered a chai tea latte, which tasted like steamed water and milk. Yucky. If you want to be a quirky, well-loved coffee shop, you have to make... More

Great coffee, drinks and atmosphere. Staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. We like to go the improv comedy shows when we are in town. The best of Austin's improv performers battle every Saturday night at 10 pm but get buy your tickets early as the small theatre upstairs sells out fast. You will lol! This is a must see... More

Quirky coffee shop with good coffee and great staff. A nice place to stop for a drink and a rest before exploring more of Austin.

I was in town for only a few days, but this coffeehouse quickly became my favorite hangout. Great coffee, fun and friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. I was hooked! We also enjoyed some open mic live music in the evenings...Love this place!!

This place has a great laid back atmosphere and friendly people behind the counter. It has great coffee, fruit smoothies, and pretty much anything else from orange juice and milk to a good beer selection. It has everything for breakfast from cinnamon rolls to organic breakfast cereals and breads. I especially loved the pumpkin bread. They have advertisements in the... More
