Uchi is one of the better sushi restaurants around with innovative creations and fresh, fresh seafood. Prices are well worth the food and service. Although it is such a :star" vehicle restaurant, it remains accessible and generous. Reservations are a must.

Second time at Uchi with my family to celebrate a milestone birthday. Such a great dining experience! We supplemented the six-course chef's tasting with several additional selections. Everything was artfully presented, but more important, absolutely delicious! We enjoyed yummy desserts and great service, too.

When the hostess smiled and told us the wait for two would be an hour and fifteen minutes we didn't think it actually would be - it was! But with the help of a fabulous bottle of champagne and the attentive bartender, Steve, the hour flew by. Our server, Jodie, was extremely knowledgable and guided us through a delightful meal.... Nope. Amazing sushi in Texas. And service, and atmosphere and value. My husband and I travel often and love to try the local hot spots in different cities. Sadly, they often fail to live up to the hype or become annoyingly pretentious with success. Neither has happened at Uchi. We asked to change our reservation with late notice and they... More

My daughter invited me to join a birthday celebration at Uchi to give me the opportunity to try something new. It is her favorite restaurant. I don't eat fish. I don't eat beef. I don't eat Lamb...shall I continue? I wanted to join for the birthday celebration and was open to try new things. My daughter, her boyfriend, and her... More

After waiting 1 1/2 hours at the bar, no server came by once to ask if we could use a drink. Once we sat, our server informed us 2 of the daily special fish we requested were gone. After putting our order in, the server came back to inform us another 2 items we ordered were unavailable, totaling 4/8 items... More

They are listed as one of America's Top Restaurants for a reason. First things first, make sure you secure a reservation...this place gets busy every night they are open. The atmosphere is exciting the moment you walk in the door. The clientele can be a little precocious, but whatever, thats to be expected. The drinks are "to perfection", and the... More

We tried to go to another restaurant but after the cab driver got lost we got out when we saw this place. One of the best accidents ever. We didn't have a reservation and it was packed so we sat at the communal dining table. I expected it to be worried but it wasn't at all, we ended up talking... More
