Sushi in the middle of Texas? You bet!

I've been going to Uchi for years. Each and every time, I'm happy I went. Servers are knowledgeable and attentive. I recommend that you dive in and have the omakase (tasting menu) - you get a bit of everything - because that's exactly what you want when you see the menu. Make sure you either get reservations or are standing... More

Okay, maybe not life-changing, but probably one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Some reviewers complained about the price. Go during the Sake Social hours (5-6:30pm), then turn yourself over to your waiter. My waiter, John, was phenomenal. He took me on a dining journey, with one delicious small plate after another coming my way -- I went... More

We went with friends. The atmosphere was electric. The food choice were great. The food was fantastic! Fresh, tasty and we ate more and more just to try as much as we could. Some of the food has a taste that was unexpected, yet delicious. Well worth the money.

Uchi is by far the best sushi I've had away from an Ocean! The meals are pricey, but more than worth the cost. It's a great place for a date or a night away from the kids. The service is always impeccable and the restaurant is spotless. The chef is INSPIRED! If you feel adventurous and the place isn't too... More

I've seen reviews talking about how good the Sushi is here, but it's much more than just Sushi. Instead I consider Uchi an explosion of flavors with Sushi as the base. The best way to experience is to let them order for you. Best yet sit at the Sushi bar and just keep it coming until you don't want anymore.

Great place to take your wife or significant other to. Food and atmosphere is great, and service was very good too. However, it was very expensive for the portions that you receive. Don't go hungry!

My friend and I had an outstanding meal at Uchi. Pace yourself. We kept ordering items and was a little surprised when the bill arrived. Definitely worth the price.

Excellent food. Very creative and unique take on Asian food. My wife loves the sushi but I haven't tried it. The Scallops are world class. It can be a bit pricey for the portions you receive.

Great selection, great wait staff that can well describe some fairly indescribable offerings! What fun trying new things!
