Had a very enjoyable dinner and experience. Decor was funky - food was delish - and our waiter was very attentive. Saturday night at 7 - didn't have to wait - so were pleasantly surprised - thought we may have to.

Good food in a large restaurant. Fresh ingreidients, but I didn't find it all that different from any other large Mexican chain, i.e., Chevys, El Torritos. They stay open late; we were there at 10:30 on a weeknight and food was still being served. Service was great, never felt rushed.

I ate at this restaurant with my family on a trip to Austin. I have eaten at this Chuy's no less than 30 times over the last 25+ years. My kids loved it. Service was fast. Drinks were good and reasonable. Food was great. I am no Tex-mex food expert but I loved Chuy's and we will continue to come... More

We stopped in on the way to the airport, they were having the Hatch Chile week specials, so tried the chile rellenos and the enchilada, both excellent, along with some interesting tequila martinis. Very good service, terrific food, a bargain!

This is the first Chuy's in the country! It is authentic and delicious! The decor is fun and 'weird' like Austin! The staff is fun and friendly too! Prices are average for Austin.

We had high expectations for this place, but they were not met. The restaurant could really take a few tables out of the dining room because it's a little too close for comfort. The food was just okay and it's really not a place that I would visit again.

Was looking for somewhere to eat near the club we were headed to and decided to check out Chuy's. Place was hopping on a Monday night around 7:00, very busy, but we were seated immediately. The nacho chips and salsa were outstanding and the waiter was personable. Told him I was "hungry" and he recommended the "Elvis Platter"...3 enchiladas, taco,... More

The food is on par with your typical tex-mex place. Lots of cilantro in their salsa. I love cilantro, so that's a good thing. We had nachos, margaritas, sopapillas, and the tres leches cake. Honestly, I wasn't super impressed with the food and drinks, and with a typical 45-minute wait time, I would have preferred the food to be outstanding....... More

Predictable? Yep. If you want a consistently excellent meal, this is your place. Always ask for the creamy jalapeño dip and take in the ambiance that is the original, where all other Chuy's came from...you won't be disappointed.
