Nice meal

Great Buritto! Had the beef buritto that "is as large as your face", a great choice. Very nice atmosphere, clean restaurant, clean restrooms, good food. Service was quick and with a smile. Maria was a great server and had great customer service. Will return and order the same meal!

Full of Gen-X'ers which tells me bland overpriced food, noise and lots of drinkers and that's exactly what it was. Overcrowded. Elbow to elbow. The "spicy" hatch chile they tout on their menu is false advertising. It is neither spicy in the least, or from Hatch, N.M. unless it was smuggled out. My advice...skip this place.

In Austin for a couple of days to see family, generally have fun, and for my son to attend a Rooster Teeth event. We were staying in a hotel near the Chuy's on North Lamar, and we decided to give it a try (previously ate at the Barton. Springs location last summer, and everyone loved it!). This time, despite a... More

Every trip back to Austin has to include not just one, but several dinners at Chuy's! Best food and best variety of Tex Mex in the region. I have moved to Caliornia and can't find its equal in the LA area.

Brought a table full of customers to Chuy's per their request. Everyone's plate went back empty so there were no complaints with the food. I thought it was average food wise. I've had TexMex at many places and Chuy's was no different so I'd say it was average food. overall. Refried beans, rice, melted cheese, chips, etc. the atmosphere and... More

Our party of six went to Chuy's for dinner last week. Loved the eclectic decorations! My two friends ordered fajitas and split them. It looked amazing and I wished I had ordered it! It came with a huge bowl of fixin's- guacamole, cheese, sour cream… They thought it was great. My daughters got a combo meal of beef soft taco... More

The food is fantastic - I had the quesadilla. The chicken, in particular, is very good. It doesn't taste like the generic stuff you usually see restaurants using (it actually had flavor). The atmosphere is eclectic and fun. But the service was unusually slow. We even noticed other tables not getting service.
