Must visit

Not only was the food amazing but so was the service! We stared out with their guacamole conqueso mix and it was amazing! I got the Elvis combo and it was your typical Mexican combination platter but was great! Our waiter Alan was on point and did everything to make our visit prefect!!!

Chuy's is the perfect combination of great atmosphere, delicious comfort food (of the tex mex variety) and boozy margaritas. I'd christen my first born in that queso...it's that good.

Went to Chuy's during my trip to Austin. Great diner/mexican reaturante vibe. It was delicious. They are very generous with their complimentary chips and salsa which is great. Fresh hot chips are key. They margaritas were a bit small, but they are decently strong alcohol wise. I got the combo fajitas and was stuffed! So yummy, refried beans are great... More

We were a party of three adults, three kids. The waitress was excellent, always asking us if all was good. One of the kids was given the wrong meal. No big deal to us as they took it back to be replaced. Waitress so sorry. Then the manager came by to give his apologies. All of this for a wrong... More

This is a fun place to just look around at all the decoration that is colorful and unique. The food is very good, and is reasonably price. I LOVED the super fresh, super thin, super crisp tortillas with fresh tasty salsa. the enchiladas were very good, (not particularly large, but just right. A couple of the items we had were... More

Friends took us to Chuy's telling us the story of how the Bush twins were arrested here for under-age drinking years ago so we thought it had to be fun. From the outside it was one of those - this is going to be an experience moments as we pulled into the parking lot. Truly, this is one of those... More

We arrived late to the city and we were looking for restaurants open in downtown o near downtown and I remembered when walking to the ACL I saw Chuy's so we decided we give it a try. If you are looking for a quiet place to have a romantic dinner, you should look other place, this place is loud, crowded,... More

Our family went here at 4 pm for happy hour. They have an unlimited FREE nacho bar during this time. There offered light crispy chips, delicious queso (that I licked out of the bowl), refried beans, ground beef, jalepenos, and salsa. The raspberry margarita was so good, made with top shelf tequila. We ate until full for under 20 dollars,... More
