Came for lunch and sat on the upstairs patio. Everything was very good, the pizza was delicious, and the workers were nice. I'd recommend to anyone visiting Austin looking for good pizza.

We were in Austin a couple of weeks ago and was doing the customary walk around 6th Street. We didn't want to take the time or expense of a sit down and order restaurant and we also didn't want to grab a slice of pie and stand on the street to eat it. We saw Roppolo's Pizzeria with a small... More

The pizza was good. The place was weird, which makes it normal considering it's on Sixty Street and Austin in general. There's no real dining experience here, just a place to fill the tank, . . . quickly if desired.

I will have to do a lot more sampling to know if Roppolo's lives up to its reputation as “The Best Pizza In Texas” but I would definitely be up to the “Texas Size” challenge. No doubt they would finish high in my rankings. The slices here are not necessarily cheap but with a free flavorful pizza roll thrown in,... More

We stopped in for some pizza and got more than we bargained for! We walked in to the counter and ordered and only saw a couple of small tables set up. Then they told us they had patio seating. Out we went, up a couple sets of stairs and we found this awesome secluded table outside in a little nook... More

Grabbed a slice of cheese on the way out out the 6th street bar scene- the pizza is much thicker than average New York style with a nice cracker like crust- on this particular day my slice was simultaneously a bit burnt on the edge and not as warm as I would like, but it was still good. It is... More

I may be from the West, but I hate thin crust pizza. This thick and huge pizza was so good and so tasty that my kids wanted more after eating their giant slice. This is a great spot.

The pizza was sold by the slice, and slices are generous! I am a bigger guy, and two slices was more than enough for me, most people would be ok with one. I also purchased a T-shirt from their main-store. Very funny t-shirts those guys were wearing lol. They are open til 4am so you have a place to satisfy... More

This is right on 6th Street and the pizza was AWESOME! It was extremely hot the day I ate here but thought the "air conditioned" area would be a little more comfortable than it was. It was a covered are with fans and A/C but still outside. It was better than sitting on an open rooftop and I'd do it... More

Am now getting used to grabbing a slice from their mobile "Slice of Heaven" pizza truck at the Moontower Saloon (in Way South Austin) but felt I needed to trek downtown for a sit down feast at their brick and mortar on 6th Street. Something I’ve probably only done once or twice since their location at Spicewood Springs and Mesa... More
