Roppolo's Pizzeria is a true Downtown Austin icon, serving up our famous Sicilian style pizza in a historic building on 6th street for over 25 years! Our New York pies are made fresh daily and served by our friendly staff from the window of the historic St. Charles Building. Our dough is always made in-house every morning and we use only the highest quality ingredients like garlic, basil, and oregano - all without preservatives or additives! Our pizzas are authentic Sicilian, with time-perfected recipes and amore (Italian for love!) baked right into the crust. Grab a slice on your lunch break or during a night out on the town - we're open 363 days a year from 11am to 3am! Roppolo's Pizzeria also offers gluten-free pizzas, pasta, salads, wings, and more, plus a fantastic beer and wine selection. Allow us to cater your next special event or make you a tailgate-size pizza for the next big game! When you're craving authentic Sicilian pizza in a friendly atmosphere, pay us a visit at Roppolo's Pizzeria!

Austin's Best Pizzeria

This walk-up pizzeria on Austin's famous 6th Street has amazing, hot and fresh pizza at a great price. Don't judge this book by its cover! Warning: very limited seating (5 stools). The service was great, too.

I am a pizza snob. Convention downtown but no real line at Roppolo's. The white pie was right out of the oven and I was hungry. White ricotta sauce was great. Veggies hit the spot. The thicker crust (not cracker-like) was excellent and just what I wanted. (I do enjoy a thin crust pie.) Most excellent. Counter staff was very... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch on a short break. I had the special, which included a large slice and a good size salad. Plenty to tide me over until dinner! The skin was fresh and good, and the preps, which amounted to their "everything" toppings, was generous but not too much. With a good beer, the total was less... More

I must confess that as I write this review, I am in pain. After ordering two slices of this awesome pizza, I can barely breathe. It was amazing. Order the bbq chicken pizza and you won't be disappointed.

Roppolo's is a tiny little pizzeria tucked into a small space on 6th that sells pizza by the slice. Two of us ate and left there stuffed for less than $15, including soft drinks. Friendly mom and pop staff with just a handful of barstools for seating. The pizza was outstanding - fresh and hot, not greasy, and really, really... More

I saw a few of these on 6th St. in Austin, and decided to stop by after a college football game. This place makes a DAMN good pie! The crust is thick; toppings are great as the pizza had good flavor to it. I would recommend the Chicken, Beef and Peppers pizza. The pizzeria reminds me of holes-in-the wall in... More

Had a party at Vulcan Gas Company next door- sadly VCG had no food! Had eaten only a 2 ounce container of potato salad all day (amazing though), then danced the night away. Left absolutely starving and wanting to check out the rest of the entertainment district. Grabbed a slice of pepperoni with sausage and walked 6th street chowing it... More
