Best pizza on 6th street and I wasn't even drunk

There are a few pizza by the slice places on 6 th street, but Roppolo's is hands down the best. Great selection, freshly made and delish.

First time to Texas and Austin was on our itinerary ......so very happy it was. At a friends insistence we went to Roppolo's and had the most fantastic slice of pizza heaven ! We had a pie called the God Father and it was LOADED with all fresh ingredients , every meat topping imaginable !! Bring a big appetite ......as... More

Looking for a place to eat near the Convention Center, this little gem is only 2 blocks away. It's a little hole-in-the-wall with sparse bar-type seating for MAYBE 6, but don't let that turn you away! The pizza was divine!!

The pizza was bland and soggy and did I mentioned cold. The floor was super dirty and the staff were wearing overcoats because it was so cold in there. I will never go back there.

Upon first blush, the shabbiness of the order counter area is off-putting. Then you notice the breadth and depth of the menu and the variety of pizza sizes. Logic suggests that the food, not the decor, explains the establishment's longevity. Logic is correct. Hands down, the pizza was excellent, all the toppings were fresh. Would recommend the 22" Special. It... More

So glad we came across the Roppolo's pizza truck after ACL. The pizza was fresh and tasty and it was great to find a late night option.

Came for lunch and sat on the upstairs patio. Everything was very good, the pizza was delicious, and the workers were nice. I'd recommend to anyone visiting Austin looking for good pizza.

We were in Austin a couple of weeks ago and was doing the customary walk around 6th Street. We didn't want to take the time or expense of a sit down and order restaurant and we also didn't want to grab a slice of pie and stand on the street to eat it. We saw Roppolo's Pizzeria with a small... More

The pizza was good. The place was weird, which makes it normal considering it's on Sixty Street and Austin in general. There's no real dining experience here, just a place to fill the tank, . . . quickly if desired.
