Grabbed a slice of cheese on the way out out the 6th street bar scene- the pizza is much thicker than average New York style with a nice cracker like crust- on this particular day my slice was simultaneously a bit burnt on the edge and not as warm as I would like, but it was still good. It is... More

I may be from the West, but I hate thin crust pizza. This thick and huge pizza was so good and so tasty that my kids wanted more after eating their giant slice. This is a great spot.

The pizza was sold by the slice, and slices are generous! I am a bigger guy, and two slices was more than enough for me, most people would be ok with one. I also purchased a T-shirt from their main-store. Very funny t-shirts those guys were wearing lol. They are open til 4am so you have a place to satisfy... More

This is right on 6th Street and the pizza was AWESOME! It was extremely hot the day I ate here but thought the "air conditioned" area would be a little more comfortable than it was. It was a covered are with fans and A/C but still outside. It was better than sitting on an open rooftop and I'd do it... More

Am now getting used to grabbing a slice from their mobile "Slice of Heaven" pizza truck at the Moontower Saloon (in Way South Austin) but felt I needed to trek downtown for a sit down feast at their brick and mortar on 6th Street. Something I’ve probably only done once or twice since their location at Spicewood Springs and Mesa... More

Great street pizza with air conditioned, sit down dining up stairs.pizza was great. New upstairs dining area was perfect for a family wanting to eat away from the bar scene. Fast service. Guy at the front was indifferent, but the people who checked on us from time to time were friendly.

Wife, adult daughter, and I grabbed a couple slices one Wednesday night after seeing the Congress Ave Bats on a tourist romp through Austin. Pizza was good. Woman at counter was friendly and helpful to us newbies. Went in back to eat, and climbed 2 flights of stairs to the only air conditioned place. Staying outside was impossible. Grab the... More

Frankly, I was disappointed in Roppolo's. I had chosen to dine there based on LocalEats, and given my flight arrived late into Austin and I was need up needing to eat dinner at 10pm, I was happy at first that I could still eat dinner that late. However, although the menu included build your own calzones, multiple pizzas, etc. it... More

We've tried pretty much every pizza option on 6th Street and Roppolo's is the best. Love that they have so many convenient locations on 6th Street.

Loved this place!!! The Veggie pizza was AMAZING!!! Boyfriend had the meat lovers and was more then pleased! We also had a spinach roll and pepperoni one as well as a salad. Can't beat the price either. Staff was super friendly and helped us with all our questions :) Will def. add this to our must eat places when we... More
