I love the Robert E Howard theme because I am a fan. This is the only place I know here that does Chicago style Pizza which is what I prefer... maybe because of going to this place as a kid. (Chicago natives are less impressed) The Frazetta paintings were fabulous. Their pizza was great. First place I had a salad... More

Super cool place. Was smaller than expected. Loved the tables with Conan The Barbarian comic books as table. When pizza came it was awesome! Ordered BBQ chicken pizza with onions and half jalapeños since everyone didn't like spicy stuff. Got a large which had 8 slices. Would totally love to visit again and try some of the other speciality pizzas.

Delicious whole wheat crust. Husband & I had deep dish, kids had thin crust. Both were very good. Salad is basic, but comes with lots of cheese & good ranch dressing. Good service.

Deep dish, all the toppings, gooey cheese...need I say more? The savage is our favorite! The house salad is delicious. Better than the caesar salad! Dressings are what makes 'em good! Interior hasn't been remodeled since the 70's and has interesting comic characters all around. So my suggestion is to get it to go. You can thank me later. Staff... More

This is really just a matter of taste. I have eaten pizza all over the country and overseas as well. I like pizza, all kinds of pizza. Conans is one of my favorites, if not the top of my list.

We had Conans recommended to us by some friends, and so we looked it up when we were in Austin. My sister and brother-in-law went with us and almost walked out because the building is just a hole-in-the-wall and doesn't look like it has been renovated since the 80's. There was also a live band (guitar and banjo) and they... More

wife & i split a deep dish pizza--each different toppings---we couldn't tell which was which--by looks or taste. it arrived hot---thanks to the cayenne pepper in the sauce, not the temperature. first and only time there---went on tripadvisor rank/ratings----which we often do---this has to be one of our major disappointments following tripadvisor recommendation.

We had Conan's delivered to our hotel TWICE while we were in Austin. First time we tried the deep dish (excellent, but VERY filling and intense), second time we went for the thin crust. Both very good, and quick delivery!
