This was my first time coming to Madam Mam's and I'll admit I had trouble finding the place. It was easy to find their sign on Anderson, but then finding the restaurant itself was more difficult,. I wandered on foot for 10-15 minutes around the complex. Once inside, I was happy to find a very pleasant decor and friendly staff.... More

The food was really good. I felt like the portions weren't as big for the curry as other places we have been too. The plate for noddles were large. The curry options though are a good amount and they all sounded so good, it was so hard to choose. The curry plate itself was really good and really really spicey.... More

So much to choose from, I used to come here for dinner with a friend and try something different every time. Food is good and I was never dissatisfied with it. Looking forward to come back again other times!

Every time I'm in Austin, I try to grab a meal here. I like that I can find something different on the menu each time. This time, I tris the tom yum soup- I didn't like it. It was too sour for my taste and usually Tom yum is not sour. I tried the salmon and and a catfish dish.... More

Visiting UT with our son and grabbed dinner here on a cold night. The place was obviously popular with the local students. My wife loves Thai food and she is an adventurous eater and with the recommendation of the waiter we ordered a soup noodle, curry and chicken with saffron rice. I think we went 0 for 3 on our... I ordered the rice with pineapple with shrimp. It tasted fresh but I was not impressed. The food was blend. The rest of the party ordered curry plates and they were better. Next time, I will order the Curry soup with chicken or something like that.

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't find much about this place appealing. Perhaps it's very authentic. Honestly, I wouldn't know the difference having very little experience with Thai cuisine. What I have eaten elsewhere, I liked better than what I had here. The coconut soup entree I had was overly sweet, lacked spice and was just ok. The shrimp... More

This has been my go-to Thai restaurant in Austin since I was a wee little Longhorn back in 2000. I cannot say enough good things about the food - all of it is extremely flavorful, and you cannot beat the prices for what you get.

Delicious and fun, love the parasol covered ceiling! Service was slow, but accurate - I think our server was new and covering several tables.I had a red curry dish highlighted by pineapple - so good! My husband had a spicy catfish - 4 pepper alarm that we should have taken more seriously - next time we will see if we... More

Food and service were both great. We originally wanted to eat at titayas but unfortunately it is still closed for renovations. That is by far the best Thai food in Austin. But madam mams was a good second choice. First time eating there and the waiter helped us pick our entrees which was nice. The bankrupt noodles were tasty and... More
