Had lunch here when in the area on business. This restaurant is inside the beautiful and historic Driskill Hotel. I had the hangover burger, which comes with a fried egg. The burger was decent - I asked for medium rare and they did cook it quite well. Not sure I would eat here again, but it was OK overall. I... More

I was staying in the hotel on a recent business trip. I stopped for lunch and got a regular burger done medium. What I was served was well done and really salty. And the bun was a little stiff. I cannot recommend this place.

We stopped in here just driving by. We were pleasantly surprised with excellent quick service and a nice atmosphere. This was around 1pm or so. I can imagine with some of the ruckus already starting that later on it would be a wild place, but for lunch it was nice, we'd go back again. I had the burger which was... More

The 1886 is one of the few sitdown places open early for breakfast in the downtown area but the online reviews about the service made me reluctant to try it. But one day when I had plenty of time I did and I was glad I did. The service I experienced was excellent. If anything my server asked me one... More

My friend & I went here for an after dinner dessert & we decided to go in here. The place was near closing hours-so there was 1 other couple in the restaurant. The 2 wait staff were nice & friendly. The desserts was decadent & good.

I had the turkey sandwich on croissant for $14. It comes with a mountain of slender fries and some interesting bread and butter pickles. The portion was huge. I had to remove some of the turkey in order to eat the sandwich, and didn't even attempt the fries. My friend had the hamburger, which she also could not finish. She... More

We had breakfast here, the food was ice cold in general, the staff is friendly but I like my eggs and sausage hot . They were gracious enough to charge us for only one meal.

My quiche was $18 and it was warm and cold so I wasn't sure about that. It had no flavor and it was primarily all crust, nothing unique or good about it. I ordered a iced latte that was both warm and slightly cold, the ice melted quickly, the Chardonnay was room temperature. With all of that being said our... More

A little pricey, but the meal portions are huge so just split it. You'll want your own dessert though.
