Went to Austin for 4th of July and had lunch at Shady Grove. I had been a long time ago but the people I was with had never been there. Just as I remembered the food was great and the atmosphere was outstanding. Everyone at the table opted for a burger - they were cooked to perfection - but be... More

We had a party of 15 people and called ahead for seating 2 hours before. When we got there our table was ready, the drinks came out fast, and the green chile grilled chicken (no bacon) was awesome. I had broccoli with it and even that was good. The waitress seemed stressed and was off-putting initially, but after a while... More

This is my all time favorite eatery in Austin! Every visit to Austin I come here! The atmosphere is awesome. I come strictly for the outdoor atmosphere and the subperb Texas Martini! Best drink I have ever tasted using Tequlia! Smooth and well balanced. On my fist visit, I helped my friend out Whataburger me suggesting the brisket tacos! OMG...... More

I have been to Shady Grove a few times and the venue is really beautiful. It is a nice place to hang out, watch music and have a few drinks. When I have gone to eat there, the food hasn't been very good and the service was terrible. I ordered fajitas and the peppers were raw and everything just seemed... More

Great vibe here! Open, outdoor seating. Fun drink menu and a ton of selection on the menu. Queso was crazy good, the service was great and helpful....not pushy to get you in and out...and the food was delish. Totally an Austin place to visit!!!

total Austin vibe! we came to enjoy Sunday brunch after too much fun on Rainey Street the night before. Luckily we arrived at 10:30 and quickly got a table outside because shortly afterwards there were a ton of people lining up to get a seat. Once we had breakfast and began drinking mimosas we decided we just weren't going anywhere... More

The perfect end to a long day on the field for players and families. Something for everyone on the menu and at the bar. Fried foods to gluten free. Everyone enjoyed dining outdoors, but inside is fun as well.

Thai grilled chicken salad! Apart from a peanut dip there was not much indication that this was a Thai dish. The flavour of Thai food was just not there. Salad ingredients were crisp and frresh. Portion was generous and tasty. Leave the word Thai from the product name and this review would be very different. Service efficient and friendly.

The best part about Shady Grove is sitting outside. Although it can be hot outside, between the trees and the fans blowing it feels relaxed and comfortable. I have never liked the food there and time after time I come away disappointed. This week I ordered the nachos thinking "anyone can make a good nacho" but these were not good... More
