Shady Grove has one if not the best patios in Austin to enjoy Texas Martini, a plate of nachos, hamburger and onion rings. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed and family friendly. Whenever I am in Austin, I always stop by Shady Grove and have taken many friends and family members. No trip to Austin would be complete without a Shady... More

Absolutely loved Shady Grove. The atmosphere was fun with outdoor and indoor seating. They have a great variety of food and I have never eaten anything bad here! I love the chicken tortilla soup the most and it is pretty much a staple whenever I go. If you get a bowl it is HUGE! I also like the jalapeño twice... More

Came here for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon with my boyfriend and another friend. Weather was nice, so we sat outside in the big courtyard area under the trees. Sitting outside was great, except for the rather persistent bees that kept trying to share our meals and drinks. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. The food here... More

The service was good so the only issue was the food was not a big deal. Fun atmosphere. Family oriented at lunch. Absolutely nothing special about this food.

Our group went for brunch and had a blast. Great place for families to relax. Salads are unique with a variety of toppings. All the food at our table looked well prepared, everyone was full and satisfied.

Nice environment, good food, and better than average service. Pretty diverse menu and bar selections. Outdoor seating a plus.

Everyone at Shady Grove is incredibly friendly. The waiters and barmen were only too happy to chat with us and talk us through the best places to see in Austin, which was excellent as we didn't have long in the city! Free nacho chips and queso are always good, and the portion we were given - gratis - was huge!... More

Huge tree in the middle of the patio makes for a great outdoor, shady setting even on a warm day. Lots of fans. Food and service are good. Have been 2 times for lunch.

Great margaritas and great burrito. Flat iron steak burrito was delicious and staff was top notch. Great time there and fun people watching!

My husband and myself ate here on our recent trip to Austin after finding it on trip advisor. We were seated quickly and our server was very helpful in helping my husband sample a couple of different beers to choose which one he preferred. The frozen cocktails were delicious. We both decided on the pulled pork sandwich with a side... More
