The restaurant offers various french dishes. The food is a fast food version of french food. The service is quick. A little overpriced for the quality.

Hi, The food is always good and the desserts are fantastic. The only things keeping this from a five-star are the bathrooms are historically not very clean and at peak times it can get quite noisy and the tables aren't bussed very fast. If you can go at other than peak times it is quite lovely.

Casual athmosphere, adequate to large portions, good value, tasty menu and the best pastries/tarts I've been able to find in Austin. I like this place for satisfying an cozy meal in the evening, lunch with friends, get a cake for a celebration to go or buy pastries to bring home or to the office. This place gets rather busy at... I came in for breakfast around six thirty am. The waitstaff , cashier and chef were very cordial and waitstaff was very attentive to detail. They served the best coffee I've ever had in years..the french roast and the food was served warm and cooked to perfection. Great place to catch a bite to eat . excellent service.

A bit pricey, busy, and delicious. Great for a quick brunch when you want a treat and to enjoy the ambiance.

La Madeleine is a chain which provides a country French atmosphere along with the food. Pastries, quiche, soup and bread are among the selections served cafeteria style. Great desserts are available. Dine in or take out. Plenty of parking.

Have been here many times and will probably go back. The Onion Soup is great, and the salads are also. I would not recommend the Croque Monsieur....it was thicker than any CM I had ever seen, and had cheese on top as well as cheese inside the sandwich (yes cheese is yummy but this was overkill). And the flavor was... More

This morning I ate at La Madeleine with a friend. It is part of a chain. The decor is pleasant and well designed to provide a private and comforting atmosphere. A friend and I were visiting and found a well lit and private corner for our conversation. The restaurant makes an effort toward country French atmosphere from the menu to the... More
