Fresh pasta cooked al dente

Nice neighborhood restaurant with NYC feel. Authentic Italian menu with fresh pastas, interesting (but limited) entrees and salads. Pizzas looked to be nice size for price, though we didn't order. Wine was pricey. Lemon basil sorbetto was best I've tasted. Perfect setting for large and small... read more

located in the Clarksville neighborhood, Cipollina has excellent food at moderate prices. No tourists, just locals enjoying well prepared- largely Italian - eats. The service is competent and friendly. All pastas are very good, and pizzas are excellent. This is a favorite place of ours.

We attempted to walk into Jeffery's with no reservations but there were no tables. Across the street is a small Italian bistro, so we decided to give it a shot. We were very happy. One person had the fish of the day (trout), one had the tenderloin filet, & I had a pasta. All were excellent. We started with calamari... More

This is one of those neighborhood bistros that looks like it'll be unbelievably expensive. It wasn't dirt cheap, but well worth the moderate prices. I had the flat crust pizzas several times. Truly outstanding. The fries are outstanding as well. The pasta dishes are inventive. For instance the spaghetti and meatballs were outstanding but if you are looking for your... More

Here is everything we ordered: mussels, fries, kale salad with grilled chicken, scallops with asparagus, pizza and wine. Everything was beautifully presented and was wonderfully prepared. Service was gracious and attentive. Loved it!

The white bean dip and calamari are both exceptional. The pizza was thin crust and memorably wonderful on a rainy evening. Last but certainly not least, Martin was a superb waiter.

Small quaint little place with quality service. The food was well prepared and cared for in its presentation. They take the time to prepare each meal. Good wine selection and you can tell this is where the locals frequent. Seems everyone there knew one another. The staff was attentive and took great care of us. I'll be saving this place... More
