The ambiance was pleasant, but the food was atrocious. The Olive Garden would have been better . I was also sick the next day after eating at this dump!

Cipollina food is goog the wait staff is attentive but be prepared the place can get noicey. Our table of 4 had 3 of the pasta dishes the and everyone in our party I enjoyed them. The wine list has a little of everything. We will return.

We meet friends here often. Atmosphere is great, food and service are excellent plus reasonable, and the wine list is extensive. Highly recommended.

We often stop by this lovely neighborhood restaurant for Sunday brunch. It seems to be the perfect spot for us, never too busy or crowded, friendly staff, and dependable food. The last time we were there, my husband and I split a Cesar salad and mushroom pizza. The salad was nice, but the pizza was outstanding! We will be back....

Cippolina is a neighborhood place, just five minutes from Austin's center. Like European restaurants, it has big windows. Not a fancy place, but the food is consistently excellent. It reminds me of a lower NY West Side place, comfortable and affordable. The menu changes slowly. It never misses.

We had an arugula salad with grilled cantaloupe and pecans. Very refreshing. We also had the gnocchi which was excellent. Grilled Brussels sprouts for the veggie and a nice inexpensive wine too. I would definitely go back again if I'm ever in town.

Can't get enough of the soups, the desserts, the wines!! Lately when I've been in a hurry but looking for a pick-me-up treat, I've ordered at the counter and hurried away with my magical something. The servers couldn't be more welcoming! Creative, delectable dishes!

My wife and I had a very good lunch here today. My wife had the arctic char while I had the fresh mozzarella pomodoro, basil pizza. Both were well prepared and very tasty. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend Cipollina.

As a New York transplant I think it very funny what Austinites consider good pizza (Homeslice? You must be joking!). Cipollina does not consider itself a pizza restaurant per se. It is more of an Italian fusion trattoria. But their pizza is unquestionably the best in town. It is very similar in the crust to Mozza's, the famed pizza joint... More

The restaurant is smallish and is clearly a neighborhood kind of place. It's also a little bit loud, with high ceilings and hard surfaces which bounce the sound around. Service was good. The hanger steak I ordered as medium-rare came medium-well, but I was hungry and wasn't paying for dinner, so I went ahead and ate it. It was not... More
