Based on strong TripAdvisor reviews, we had our first dinner at Flour and Vine. Parking was free in the attached garage. The atmosphere and ambiance is nice in a modern setting. The wait staff were friendly, but lacked polish in their engagement and serving style. The menu has a good selection of apetizers and main courses, very limited on dessert.... More

Excellent value with a very good selection of wines both by the glass and the bottle. Entrees and appetizers are reasonably priced and served by knowledgeable and friendly waitstaff. Definitely order the baked Brie and one of the excellent fish or meat selections. In over-hip Austin, this is a fine choice for a really good meal at reasonable prices without... More

Our party of six were all pleased with our meals. The snapper was nice and crisp on the outside and tender and moist inside. Our wine selections were also very good and not too outrageous in price. The noise level was high but that seems to be the norm nowadays . Parking was a breeze as they have a parking... More

We walked over to Flour & Vine before our show at the Zach Theater for dinner. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. They have small plates and regular size entrees. Our table ordered Shrimp & Grits (huge shrimp!), Snapper, and Black Drum fish entrees, and also a Hangar steak. Everyone was well pleased with their food. The cocktails were... More

Loved our dinner here. I had the maui maui which was really good in a lemon butter caper sauce. My friend had a delicious hanger steak. The bread was piping hot with a honey butter. Can't say enough about this wonderful restaurant. Bar looked inviting.

We had a nice time for our anniversary celebration. We started with drinks and appetizer. Then we decided to stay for dinner. The wait staff was really nice. The drinks and appetizer was really nice. But I ordered the snapper for dinner and it was overcooked like I would make as a immature chef. My husband ordered the hanger steak... More

I sure wish they had a second location in Dallas! Both the food and service were fantastic! Our party of 9 tried a variety of starters and entrees and everyone loved the food! The wine was great too! I will definitely go again next time I'm in Austin.

We've been meaning to try Flour and Vine for quite a while, but just never did. I wish we had tried it earlier, what a great experience! Service was excellent. Every item we had (shrimp small plate, chicken marsala, and mahi mahi) was excellent. Quiet atmosphere even with the piano and trumpet playing (perfect background level). We will be back.... More

The small plates and the larger ones offer a nice and eclectic selection as does the wine list. The service is very attentive. The seats by the windows offer a good view of urban life. The singer and piano player has a very nice voice and I like her selection of tunes. It also has a nice bar area. You... More

Flour and Vine has been open for less than a year, and so far seems to be flying under the radar. We enjoyed this restaurant on a recent Friday evening with another couple for a birthday celebration. We had a reservation and were seated promptly upon arrival. The waiter was quick to take drink orders and gave us adequate time... More
