We've been meaning to try Flour and Vine for quite a while, but just never did. I wish we had tried it earlier, what a great experience! Service was excellent. Every item we had (shrimp small plate, chicken marsala, and mahi mahi) was excellent. Quiet atmosphere even with the piano and trumpet playing (perfect background level). We will be back.... More

The small plates and the larger ones offer a nice and eclectic selection as does the wine list. The service is very attentive. The seats by the windows offer a good view of urban life. The singer and piano player has a very nice voice and I like her selection of tunes. It also has a nice bar area. You... More

Flour and Vine has been open for less than a year, and so far seems to be flying under the radar. We enjoyed this restaurant on a recent Friday evening with another couple for a birthday celebration. We had a reservation and were seated promptly upon arrival. The waiter was quick to take drink orders and gave us adequate time... More

Our group of 6 enjoyed a fantastic dinner recently at Flour & Vine. We loved everything about this restaurant, including the fact that they have free garage parking within the same block as the restaurant's front door! That is a definite plus in Austin, Texas these days. The menu does not have numerous choices, but all of the choices are... More

My husband and I had dinner and drinks at Flour and Vine last Saturday and everything was wonderful. We were thrilled when we got there to find complimentary covered parking. We sat at the lovely bar and had drinks and took a look at their reversed happy hour bar menu which serves food and drinks at great prices from 7-9p.m.... More

Pork chop seriously overcooked, polenta mushy and tasteless. Was hoping for a whole lot more. Not even in Austin's top 100 restaurants, sadly.

We visited this restaurant during july, 2013. We always travel with our 4 legged son, therefore look for pet friendly places. We were lucky to find this one. We only wanted a couple of appetizers and good wine. We were not dissapointed. The service was fantastic. We sat outside, a huge patio area which is very common in Austin. We... More

A friend and I chose Flour and Vine after an event on a Friday night. It was late but we were shown to a nice corner table. The service was excellent throughout the meal. My selection was basically pork chop and sweet potato with tomato and cheese garnish. The chutney transfomed the pork chop into a delectable taste sensation. The... More

I recently dined here with my boyfriend for his birthday. We had an amazing meal. It was a Sunday night and we practically had the restaurant to ourselves! I guess a lot of people haven't found this place since it opened, but they SHOULD! First of all I have to mention that they have a fantastic wine menu. They had... More

Just found this place close to my work. They have a great happy hour with snacks and sips for everyone. The wait staff is super nice and fast, the decor is clean and modern, and the food is true gourmet comfort food. There is live music on Fridays for sure and the prices are very reasonable for the portions and... More
