Pisco Sours better than Peru's

Celebrated my friend's birthday here recently outside on the patio. We were in heaven drinking the pisco sours and enjoying the happy hour appetizer specials. Tried the fried green tomatoes, yum!, Humboldt fog cheese tray, and the flash fried panko crusted brie. Their habanero honey sauce was so... read more

Located at the base of the COLE apartment building, this restaurant has one of the nicest bars I have visited. The bartender is very friendly, knowledgeable. Definitely felt like one of those bars where one can just hang out, read a book, meet a friend or two or three, have a quick drink and an app and each and every... More

It was really dead when we went, but the atmosphere was still nice. My friends enjoyed their wine and I enjoyed my cocktail. The lamb linguini was tasty, but the portion was awfully small. My friend said that the pork chop he ordered was excellent. Overall, the flavors were great. I'd go back to try more of the menu.

Great happy hour specials on drinks with a nice variety of wine and small plates. The Cheese plates are great for a group to share, too. The space is open, not overly pretentious, with adequate parking as well. Plenty of outdoor seating, although we sat at the bar where the bar tender was attentive.

Shared a nice meal with friends before a show at ZACH. Well-designed space; helpful staff. The food was good enough, but did not quite live up to the prices or aspirations. Beet salad was nearly-excellent but slightly overdressed. Spicy shrimp-n-grits was not spicy, and was too much of a one-note experience. Bread pudding was tasty, but we didn't feel the... More

the menu is wide ranging and imaginative. the wine list is small but we did find a nice pino grigio. the service was prompt and friendly. Prices were reasonable. This restaurant is located near the downtown theaters and convenient for before or after a performance. I had th lamb ragout with linguine and it was excellent. The pasta is made... More

Based on strong TripAdvisor reviews, we had our first dinner at Flour and Vine. Parking was free in the attached garage. The atmosphere and ambiance is nice in a modern setting. The wait staff were friendly, but lacked polish in their engagement and serving style. The menu has a good selection of apetizers and main courses, very limited on dessert.... More

Excellent value with a very good selection of wines both by the glass and the bottle. Entrees and appetizers are reasonably priced and served by knowledgeable and friendly waitstaff. Definitely order the baked Brie and one of the excellent fish or meat selections. In over-hip Austin, this is a fine choice for a really good meal at reasonable prices without... More

Our party of six were all pleased with our meals. The snapper was nice and crisp on the outside and tender and moist inside. Our wine selections were also very good and not too outrageous in price. The noise level was high but that seems to be the norm nowadays . Parking was a breeze as they have a parking... More
