If I were to expire today, I would want to awake in the paradise that is Maoz, even with the wall to wall ceiling to floor green tile. The menu choices are simple and concise. Falafel, do you want fries, salad or soup with that? And as if delicious falafel balls in a warm gigantic pita weren't enough, they let... More

Salad bars are few and far between in Austin and Maoz is a MUST! We have been back twice in the same week. Everything is prepared from scratch in house; they also make fresh soups and during the summer will be serving gazpacho; Anne, the owner very kindly brought us some to taste and it was absolutely delicious. Someone above... More

A good place for a quick healthy meal. The broccoli is incredible. They flash cook it in hot oil and throw salt on it. Probably not the healthiest way to eat broccoli, but damn is it good.

I actually find Maoz's menu options kind of confusing -- I've had to ask them to explain all three times I've eaten there -- but the bottom line is that you get far more food than it seems like you should for the price. The regular falafel sandwich is about five bucks and comes with unlimited toppings/sides from the salad... More

Maoz was great! I had bought a Groupon, but will be going back in the future. The restaurant serves salad and falafel, both of which were delicious. Their roasted broccoli was some of the best that I've ever had. The salad comes with 5 pieces of falafel and lettuce. There is a bar a fresh veggies, dressings, and salsas to... More

Our son took us to Maoz for Falafal. It was very fresh and great taste. It is in a very good location and you would want to spend time there, sitting outside at one of the tables.

I love the quality of the food, the fact that it is vegetarian with a great taste, and one meal makes two for me!

Well-prepared food, good price, consistent quality. Highly recommended. Falafels, the heart of their offerings, are crispy and fresh, not overloaded with breading. Ample portion in the Maoz sandwich for $5.25 which includes one pass of toppings from vegetarian salad bar. They also offer "boxes" with falafel balls and you add fixings from the salad bar. Eggplant offered three ways is... More

Got a junior Maoz with Belgian fries and all the veggies I could eat. What they call veggie toppers includes all kinds of different salads and sauces. The junior was plenty big with fresh falafel and service was quick and friendly. Great lunch and can't wait to go back!

Maoz Vegetarian is a delightful deli that caters to the vegan palate. They feature a pita sandwich with falafels into which you may add any of the available items on the salad buffet. Not only is the food delicious, but their service is outstanding. I had taken an out-of-town guest who is a strict vegan AND does not eat anything... More
