Very nice quaint vibe inside this extremely small restaurant. The food is a culinary hit or a complete flop of a mess. (2 out of every 5 dishes are amazing) Portions are small and expensive.

In Austin there is a lot of competition for restaurants. It is becoming a farm to table, and "celebrity" chef breading ground. A lot of places are all hype based on the Austin Foodie Crowd saying a place is fantastic. LeNoir is not one of those places. Since they have opened I have heard so many people say that dining... This small restaurant is a total delight. Their reasonably priced menu allows 3 or 4 courses and they are all delicious and inventive. The atmosphere is unique and friendly. I dined solo at the bar and was very impressed by the friendly staff and wonderful food.

I was very skeptical given the small seating and mostly bar and communal seating. The hostess was extremely friendly and offered us three seating choices (we went at 6). We decided to sit at the communal table since it was the only non bar height table. I chose the 4 course set menu with the wine pairings. As soon as... More

The outside area is very cool. Nice wine bar and live oaks. We went inside to eat dinner and it was just ok. The carrot salad was ok. The snapper crudo was pretty good. The pork and rabbit were ok, not great. probably not the best value for the food, but we will give it another try.

I have to admit even though a friend recommended this place I was very skeptical when we pulled up. But as they say "don't judge a book by its cover. A very simple design but different. A really fresh idea in the menu with everything a 3 course layout. The food was awesome!! I don't mean good. The right portions... More

Every time you come here it's an attack on your taste buds and senses. The corn ravioli was sweet and light and was accented with pickled corn, queso fresco and crumbled pepita cookie! My octopus curry with squid and oysters was excellent. My wife had basil panna cotta and Redfish which was unbelievable. Topped off with chocolate fig pie topped... More

From the moment we stepped on the porch until the moment we paid, everything was near perfect. Hostess was kind and quick to offer us a drink while we waited outside. Upon entering the restaurant, we enjoyed the quirky, cozy atmosphere and were quickly greeted by a warm, prompt waitress. The menu is simple but diverse. Standouts were the curried... More

One word - magnificent! We had a terrific meal and a terrific time at Lenoir. It is a small space with comfortably close tables. As noted by others, the waitstaff are superb, extraordinarily knowledgeable and casually conversant, without being intrusive. The four course menu is unique and the marriage of favors were quite creative. Was that a hint of lime... More

We had the four course fixed price menu on a Sunday evening with the wine pairings. The food was excellent and very seasonal, but the wine parings were out of this world. Our waiter was very enthusiastic and informative and the four wines paired with the courses were very innovative and off the beaten path. This is a small place... More
