I went there for a happy hour with 3 of my friend. Their happy hour drinks and food is excellent. $5 martinis, margaritas, monitors, even wine. Food also reasonable with an upscale restaurant you can not go wrong. The outdoor patio provides a good backdrop with water view. My husband and I went there for our anniversary celebration and we... Lovely setting on a lake, surrounded by trees. Nice decor. and very nice service. Timely but not rushed. Food choices were a bit limited, but tasty. Chef could lighten up on the salt.

The food was really good. Expected a little better service and more food for the high prices. Saw several other tables with rolls, not sure if they are complimentary or not since we didn't get any. Waited long periods between visits from our waiter. Overall glad we went but for the money we didn't get much bang. Will not return... More

This was my first time to a Roaring Fork. What a nice surprise. Great food in a neighborhood otherwise void of stimulated dining experiences. It is a little tricky to find, so at the end of Stonelake, keep going straight, even if your map app tells you to turn left ;) Give it a try, you will not be sorry!

This is our second time to eat at the Roaring Fork. Our first visit was at the downtown location. Loved every part of our experience there. Great food, excellent service. I would truly love to see the restaurant expand their menu. Food was the same at the Stonelake location good but not "special" in any way. We sat out on... More

Austin is full of amazing restaurants with all sorts of cuisines but this one really stood out for us Londoners. The staff were very friendly and helpful - as one would expect in Texas. The first thing that was put on the table was a basket of small, warm corn muffins with jalapeño peppers. Heaven!! We were all tempted by... More

I enjoyed Roaring Fork though, truth be told, I got hung up at the office and missed the apps and the sunset... Of the part I got to enjoy, I would especially compliment the guacamole and, in the mood for something a little lighter, the Spinach Chicken Waldorf Salad.

As we pulled into the parking lot, all I could think was that we'd have a really long wait - but not at all the case, despite the number of cars. We were seated immediately, and the hunger quotient ratcheted up with the great smell of wood fires and grilling. We sat outside, seated off a lake. The modern design... More

All of the food tastes delicious with just the right sized portions, but I can't eat there without getting the fried avocados. I actually like it when my friends decline on the principle that they are fried, because then I eat their portion. The outdoor seating is scenic with a beautiful quarry view and the waiters are friendly, knowledgeable and... More
