Small but worth the visit

We had the meatballs which were very good and the spicy cauliflower. We also had 3 of there pizzas and all were really good done in the fire oven. They have a happy hour which was nice also. Get there early it is small and space is limited.

Fresh ingredients, great service, incredible crust, and a real wood-fired brick oven. This place is an absolute treat.

We had several glasses of Lambrusco. It was tasty and reasonably priced. Out appetizers were excellent and consisted of brussel sprouts and bruschetta. The bruschetta had a lard and fresh toppings on a soft bread--out of this world. The pizzas were simple and delicious. I will return.

An authentic Italian meal. Smallish establishment. Felt like I was in Grandma's kitchen. Menu was limited but delectable. Waitstaff was attentive and helpful. Would definitely go back. Oh wait, I did!

There aren't many places to eat in the 6th Street area. We tried to get a seat at the Parkside, but was told there was a 2 hour wait. The host at the Parkside was super nice and recommended this restaurant. He escorted us out the back door to the Backspace Restaurant and told us to tell them that the... More

Calling this a pizzeria is a severe understatement. Yes, they serve delicious, tasty pizzas, but they also have a selection of antipasti and small plates that are absolutely divine. We arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday without a reservation, and were so lucky to get a table. (They have about 15 seats at the bar and about 8 tables.) Everything... More

My wife and I visited Austin the weekend of February 7th to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Awesome location in downtown Austin on SanJacinto and 6th St. We arrived at ~ 5:15 p.m. without a reservation. It is a small dining area with approximately 8 tables. We were promptly seated and beverage order was taken. We also ordered an appetizer of... More

I was in Austin on a business trip and at at the restaurant on a referral from a coworker. The pizza was delicious and savory and just the right amount. I would recommend getting a bottle of wine versus a glass if there are 2 or more people in your group. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. When in... More

We came to Austin (from NJ) without a dinner plan and felt like checking out the 6th St scene. The pepperoni pizza and field greens salad were really enjoyable, I'm kind of craving it now. The place is small and uses the bar as seating, I was put on the corner of it and every single person hit me so... More
