Four of us called in here, no reservation last Friday evening. We'd originally intended for cocktails on their huge ranch style terrace pre dinner elsewhere. But the shared appetizers proved so delicious we just kept ordering plates to share and dinner was done. The food had a sophistication that belied ordinary naming conventions. Truly succulent, properly cooked chicken wings came... More

Ate here last night. Crowded but was seated promptly. Wife's red table wine delicious. My cocktail, some sort of grapefruit-based drink had odd after-taste. Cauliflower, chicken meatballs, beans, and flank steak all very good. Service friendly and efficient. Coffee fair. Place draws a younger, under 30 mostly, crowd, has a nice feel, especially on a not too warm evening (pre-thunderstorm).... More

Dined here recently with a group of 12. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. The menu is interesting but pricey. The dining is mostly outdoors, which could be a problem if the weather was rainy or hot. The other problem is the number of dogs in the dining area. You would think that pet owners could be separated... More

Has it all: location, food, drinks, atmosphere. For large groups or a couple, this is the place. Perfect for before or after events at UT. Outdoors so can be chilly in winter, but they do have heaters (and they pass out blankets). Try some of their authentic range/ranch dishes for an exciting experience. Also their exotic drinks.

the decor will remind you that you are in Texas. Start with the unique and tasty cocktails - I loved the one with tequila, cucumber, and lime. Enjoy the tempura fried green beans and the white bean dip with your cocktail. My group loved the sausage, the rabbit pot pie, and the hamburgers. It's a fun and relaxing place to... More

Disappointed. Prior happy hour visit for drinks was good. This dinner visit, not so much. Built to resemble a ranch house in Texas, like the owner's. Nice lighting. Planters show how locally grown veges look in the garden. Exceptional server explained the goal is to serve locally grown fare, utilizing whole animals and naturally grown plants. No particular cuisine style... More

What a hoot of a place. Picnic tables and little white lights. Rabbit pot pie made me nervous, but three in our party adored it. I actually had the best burger I have ever had. Service was impeccable and entertaining. Drinks were funky and fun. Food was great. Wine was fab. Go for the gusto and order "The Closer", an... More

So good! Great waitstaff. Awesome atmosphere. We even took our dog! The food was off the chain awesome. The butternut squash was a little underdone and the juniper was too heavy in one of the drinks. But the rest, pure heaven. Great sausage, best grilled cheese, and the oxtail slider was a slice of heaven. Bacon jam was so good.... More

We love the food, very original and fun. We enjoy the environment. Good service, very friendly. It was relaxing and comfortable. We didn't feel like they want for us to rush. We could enjoy our brunch.

Ate our way through half the menu. Loved everything. Still talking about the pickled grapes that came with the face bacon
