It's Bacon, What Do You Think?

Great place. I've been several times and have ordered several different items off the menu. The bacon varies depending on the day, but it's all good. The burger with the bacon ground into the meat with bacon on top is a winner. My friend had the chicken sandwich with bacon and that thing is... read more

We were visiting Austin with our little pooch so our options of where to eat were limited. Thankfully we happened upon this place only a few blocks where we were staying. We ate outside at a picnic table, and it was a nice night if a little buggy. I dont think being near a little slow moving stream helps with... More

Considering im new to the Austin area, I have made it a point to try a new place weekley with the family. This place didn't disappoint, what's not to love. They have a daily thick cut house bacon ($2 extra) and 2 daily selections. On this particular Sat, the choices were hickory and chipotle, thin cut for a $1. Telling... More

We heard through the grapevine that we needed to try Bacon on a recent trip to Austin. So we decided it would be a perfect place to go for Easter brunch. If you love bacon, and you should because it is the perfect food, then you owe it to yourself to give Bacon a try. It's a small, unassuming place.... More

I love eating bacon and I've tried this place a few times. I don't see what the buzz is about this place. I've had a few different breakfast plates there and today was the least flavorful of them all. I ordered the french toast. It was under cooked on the inside and had a black/burnt outer layer. My hickory bacon... More

We have visited this place twice and both times everyone loved their meal. However, we did decide we didn't enjoy their house bacon. It is a bit on the chewier side and didn't have much flavor, but their other bacons were amazing!

Pretty easy to find and there is some parking out back (also a bunch of picnic tables beside the little creek). Order from the big menu on the wall, cash or credit, they give you cups for fountain beverages and a little number for your table. Find a seat then wait for deliciousness. I got the pulled pork with shoestring... More

My love of all things bacon cried out for me to try this place. My sweetie and I were in Austin for a wedding, I asked that we take time out for....Bacon. He loves bacon nearly as much as I do, so off we went. The food was good. I mean, it's bacon, how to go wrong? The location is... More

On a dreary, wet winter morning when you want some food to warm your senses, head on over to Bacon. In the parking lot your taste buds will be gearing up based on the smoky, bacon aroma wafting in the air. In the cozy entry you will have a tough decision ahead of you: breakfast [served all day]; bacon &... More

I loved the biscuits. Best part of the meal for me. The chicken and waffles were good, but they crushed my stomach. A bit of overkill perhaps. Skip the Bacon fries as the get lost in a forgettable glop of cheese and bacon..The fries themselves are cool because of the size. But the mini cut doesn't hold up to the... More
