Unique Place

Beer and donuts. Who would've thought that works. I had the flying pig donut which was delicious and washed it down with cold local brew. My wife thought her donut was a little too sweet, so I had to eat some of hers too!

You have to go. You will forever be kicking yourself in the shins if you don't. Our group had: The Flying Pig, Free Bird, and Nutty Valentine, not a spare morsel on anyone's plate.

The idea of fried chicken on a donut may not sound appealing, but the Mother Clucker is absolutely divine! And the Flying Pig has enough bacon to balance the sweetness of the maple icing - again, divine!! You gotta try one!!

WOW. Honestly this was the best thing I ate my entire trip to texas. These donuts are beyond out of this world. They are so delicious it is sickening, I literally couldnt stop eating. We even went back the next day for more. The strawberry shortcake donut was phenomenal. And the donut holes with the coconut were one of the... More

We happened to drive by this truck while leaving S. Congress Ave and had to stop. Four of us each got a different donut and they were all amazing. You need to prepare yourself for a serious dose of sugar, but it's so worth it.

The donuts at this place are out of this world. I flew in from New York and could not leave Austin without trying this place out. I have to say I was impressed. I could not finish my doughnut. They're huge! but Oh, so good. I would recommend this to everyone.

I am not a huge fan of donuts but I do like them occasionally. My sons birthday, he had a choice of where to eat. We chose a place on Congress Avenue. As we were walking back, saw this trailer that sold donuts. I was interested, he was interested, my wife was interested - we stopped. It was worth it.... More

I can't imagine eating the whole doughnut. It was 100 degrees and bright and sunny but we had to try Gourdough's! Everyone in our group got something different, from sweet to sweet/savory combinations, and all good. Got the Fat Elvis: large warm freshly fried doughnut topped with peanut butter icing, thick sliced bacon, and grilled bananas. Credit cards accepted. On... More

Very unique place to eat!! They serve sandwiches on a doughnut bun! Chicken, burgers and many other options as well. And you HAVE to try a dessert. Everything we had was incredibly good! Only negative I had was how slow are waiter was and the restaurant was not even full. We had to flag him down to order, for refills,... More

The menu had so many tasty options it was surely hard to choose. Some had strawberry, others chocolate toffee, cinnamon sugar, blueberries, coconut, you name it. Something for everyone! Service was good, fast and the doughnuts were so hot we had to wait for them to cool a bit before digging in. Give it a try!
