I thought sandwiches and everything on a doughnut and deep fried would be really too much -- disgusting even, BUT -- I was SO WRONG. The doughnuts are light and fresh -- it is incredibly delicious. And their specialty drinks...I cannot rave enough. I love this place. The brussel sprouts (not breaded, not in a doughnut) -- are also extremely... More

Best donuts on the planet! We always stop by when were in town visiting. My favorite is the flying pig. This time we tried "The Gordough" a fried egg and maple sausage on a donut. The service is always friendly and the donuts never disappoint. Such a unique experience!

My husband and I went on a Sunday morning and thought the donuts were amazing. We were there about 930 and ended up waiting an hour. They ran out of a lot of donuts by then, so go early. Bring something to drink while your waiting. My husband had the bacon one and I had the cinnamon sugar with cream... More

I'd heard about this food truck from a "Southern Living" article mad, since I was visiting Austin, I decided to,check it out. I got a savory and a sweet: The Mother Clucker and Miss Shortcake. I know people rave about chicken and waffles, but chicken and waffles have nothing on the Mother Clucker. It's a golden fried donut topped with... More

It was like having fried frech toast for breakfast. Go hungry. There is plenty to be had. My two boys had different selections and both were great.

Big portions, lots of options and good deserts. Anytime you make a burger with a donut bun, you're winning. Very tasty burgers, patty melts, and deserts. A nice selection of beer, mixed drinks and strong coffee round out your dining experience. It gets busy in the evenings and weekend, but there is lots of seating inside and out. Games are... More

Great food at decent prices, however the staff could be a little friendlier and attentive. I went there with the family on a Saturday afternoon. They were not busy at all, and the person working the order window was on the telephone having a conversation with someone that was not appropriate in front of families. We were off put by... More

Just up from the main strip in SoCo, you'll find the Gourdough's donut truck. Here, hungry hordes drool over the impossibly challenging BIG. FAT. DONUT. options; diners snap pics and gasp over the deep fried goodness, and distracted drivers on S 1st Street risk head-on collisions, trying to see what all the fuss is about. After accepting that we'd need... More

First of all they fry the dough right in the truck and your personal doughnut is made to order. The combinations and flavors are endless. The toppings are huge. Its an experience to say the least. Its a teeny tiny parking lot so if there are more than 10 people at this food-truck spot, plan on parking somewhere else (like... More
