Not Your Grandma's Donuts

To call these things donuts is a real misnomer. They are humongous gloppy stacks of gooey sweetness piled on top of fried dough. Nine of us shared about 6 "donuts", but 3 would have been plenty. It was so yummy that we all ate far more than was wise or comfortable, but what a treat! Our... read more

Gourdough's was incredible. We got there early and actually got a parking spot on site. We ate the Flying Pig and the Naughty and Nice….both awesome! I want one in Dallas!

Bacon sanwich with donut bun + chocolate donut with brownie and chocolate chips (I added Banana and whipping cream). Be sure to skip breakfast, run 10 miles and eat and apple on your other meal of the day. Flavors match and overall solid value. Close to a 5 but nothing made my taste buds explode, recommended and will return! Bar... More

Was told Gourdoughs is a must in Austin and it did not disappoint. This stuff is decadent. Love the Porkeys donut. We did wait in line for a while but that seems to be the thing at Austin's popular food trucks. Oh well just have to roll with it.

My local friends brought me to try and I love it! What a unique way of presenting and eating doughnut. My favorite was the fat Elvis which I chose myself as it has everything I love in it. I'm constantly craving for it now!

Gourdough's changed my life. For the better. I literally cannot even begin to explain how good this place is. But its really, really good. The donuts are heavenly. The portions are huge, but not in an excessive way. If there's a line, just wait on it. Be patient, because this is the best donut you will ever have. It's probably... More

My granddaughter took me to her favorite donut spot in Austin, and it was this food truck! Reading the menu is fun because of the names of the different donuts: ie Fat Elvis (which is peanut butter and bananas). They are huge, and with all the toppings they are incredibly rich, so you more than likely can't finish one! The... More

Gourmet donuts are on the rise and luckily the owners of Gourdough's jumped on the bandwagon! Went to the food truck for dessert and were not disappointed. The only downside was the line and super small parking lot, but totally worth the wait. We had a cinnamon and sugar one and one filed with yellow cake batter topped with chocolate,... More

First off, choosing which doughnut you want is no easy task. Most sound absolutely amazing. Then you open that little container and your eyes can't believe it. You just want to dive in and devour the whole thing and lick your fingers clean. I ate the Funky Monkey with grilled bananas, cream cheese icing and cinnamon. Heaven. Sorry I don't... More

This is it. Such rich, sweet, decadent donuts. It was so awesomely delicious. It was hot and gooey. I was brought there by my neice and it definitely lived up to my expectations and then some. My family purchased donuts with bananas. They were all amazing. I can't recall but I had like a bananas foster type donut. It was... More
