I saw Gourdough's on several national "best donuts" list, so last time my husband and I were in Austin, we had to check it out. I was really disappointed. Gourdough's has lots of crazy toppings that sound cool, but they just didn't work for me. The donut itself was way too thick and didn't have a lot of flavor, and... More

You really should share due to the size and sugar overload, but there are just to many options. We always get our own and only manage to eat half.

I was visiting a friend and he REQUIRED that we visit this place for a donut. We arrived around 10:30 and the line was 30 minutes long...and well worth it. Apparently there is a line 100% of the time it is open. The donut was amazing and well worth the wait and $5. Definitely stop by here when in Austin.

My boyfriend & I went here after dinner to try a doughnut. I got The Puddin and he got the Funky Monkey. OMG one doughnut is so massively filling we were sick eating the whole thing but couldn't stop. The doughnuts are delicious and the flavors are creative and great, I would just recommend splitting or having better self control... More

This is a little piece of donut perfection.. also a heart attack in a 6x6 round food, but absolutely delicious and worth it! Get there early as the lines can be long and donuts are fried fresh to order. They are heavenly, fluffy, perfection. Don't miss it!

The doughnuts are nuts! My wife and I each had the Flying Pig which consists of a perfectly prepared doughnut doused in maple icing with probably eight slices of bacon on top. Needless to say I didn't eat for the rest of the day. The location is situated in the middle of a food truck farm that has a lot... More

Stopped on our way through Austin with high expectations since we had read the reviews. We ordered the strawberry shortcake one and the cinnamon and sugar doughnut. The doughnuts were way too thick and the toppings overhelmed even these large, bready doughnuts. The toppings should both complement and enhance the flavor of the dough and in this case did neither.... More

The flying pig, a giant maple glazed doughnut topped with salty, crispy bacon, was one of the best indulgent foods I've ever eaten.

You really can't get a better doughnut than they have at Gourdoughs. It really doesn't matter what you get, I guarantee you will love it. If you're craving a sweet or savory doughnut, Gourdoughs has you covered. My favorite is the famous Mother Clucker with just the right balance of salty and sweet. Let me warn you that a doughnut... Awesome and unique. 3 of us went and our reviews are as follows: 1. Sara's Joy: coconut filling with chocolate and fresh coconut flakes. This was amazeballs. 2. The Carney: Apple filling with caramel and dry roasted peanuts. Delicious! 3. Bring the Heath: cream cheese icing with crushed heath bar sprinkled on top. This one was just ok. Very sweet... More
