You won't believe your eyes!

Took one of my customers from Dallas to try the burgers and he fell in love with them. I'm not sure if he liked the bacon or the consistency of the donut more--but once he took off his tie--he 'scarfed' it down. A few more calories than the typical burger--but well worth it !

I've been to both the trailer and the brick-and mortar locations. We love the fried chicken strips with their special honey drizzled over (sort of a twist on the classic waffles and chicken combo) for our entrée, and then the Black Bettie for dessert. Can't go wrong with any of the great offerings. Just know you'll feel like you have... More

For all the places I've been and all the foods I've eaten, I'm so happy that Gourdough's is in my home town. I am thankful that it's on the other side of town or I would be there too much. I've tried almost every menu item and the taste is amazing. The staff is awesome. This place cannot be beat.... More

Very happy we chose Gourdough's for our lunch destination. Hade the Bacon Me Crazy with bacon, guacamole, red onion, tomato and provolone cheese with a garlicky maonnaisse! Deliciously wonderful! Can't wait to try another of their donut sandwiches.

How many ways can you serve a doughnut? They have it figured out, and very creatively. Great food and atmosphere. Great staff too.

Went on a Saturday about 12:30 busy but not too crowded. It was a beautiful day in Austin so we sat outside. I started off with a Bloody Mary, boy was I glad I did!!! It came out it had 2 olives a pickled okra and a slice of crispy bacon. OMG!!!! It was delicious!!! I had the Marvin's Nachos... More

For months before I even seriously began planning a visit to Austin, I have already been reading about Gourdough's (which I pronounced as sourdough, but with a G instead of an S). I have seen the pictures and salivated over their beautifully appetizing doughnuts, so when I was asked by my uncle in Dallas (first stop of the road trip)... More

Gourdough's is so much more than a donut shop. It is gourmet in doughnut format. Get something exotic with a beer or two and sit down for a nice slow, relaxing meal.

This is way more than a simple doughnut, this is a meal! They have so many things on top of a large doughnut that is it more like a small meal. They are oh so tasty though, and I am not one to eat doughnuts. Worth a trip for sure.

You will never see donuts the same way again. We had the burgers and they were amazing, more than we could eat! The portions are huge and the cilantro ranch(not the real name) was delicious. We had the mozzarella fried in the donut dough...(holy lord), but the best thing by far was the Funky Monkey which was a fried donut,... More
