Excellent gumbo and New Orleans style food

You will not be disappointed in the Gumbo. I GUARANTEE! It is a bit pricy, but so are the finer things in life. I highly recommend this restaurant if you like Cajun food with a flair.

I will preface this review with the fact that I have eaten in five star restaurants many times, including in NOLA! This may be one of the best meals I have ever eaten! Certainly the best Cajun/creole meal ever!!!!!! Dinner was delicious, the service stellar, and the overall experience impeccable! We stopped here after seeing it on Tripadvisor as we... More

We have never had a bad meal, Chef Dave strives for perfection, have they missed something a time or two, yes but just be brave enough to say something and the staff will do backflips to make it right. To the griper that brought friends here you should have said something, to our Irish visitors same to you, but Cajun... More

We visited the I-35 restaurant for the first time for dinner to celebrate a special occasion. I made a dinner reservation the day before. There were 4 of us altogether: 3 adults and 1 teen. My husband had eaten here before with work associates for lunch -and recommended that we give it a try. Since this was MY first time... More

We visited here with our dinner group and we weren't disappointed. It's a hard place to find because it's stuck back in a strip center in North Dallas. If you're able to find it, and you like cajun food, you will love this place. They have a variety of salads, soups, fish & shellfish entrees and some beef choices. Their... More

Amazing - we used to go here when it was under different ownership. New owners, still excellent menu and quality. Redfish Ponchartrain with shrimp and crawfish on top. Ending with housemade chocolate cheesecake.

We have come here for a couple years now..and loved it. We decided to share the experience with a very special couple of friends from out of town. We have always had wonderful food..but this trip was failure food. We were so embarrassed since we had changed our venue the day before their arrival. We had a new (to us)... More

I dined at the French Quarter Grille in early June, while visiting Austin for the first time. The eatery was highly recommended by a member of our hotel staff. I was not sure what to expect of a French eatery in the middle of Austin, Texas, but I have to tell you we were blown away!!! We were served by... More

This is a great restaurant in north Austin where you can eat authentic New Orleans style food. The gumbos and étouffée are delicious as are the blackened fish, chicken and shrimp dishes. We love the key lime pie for dessert. The bread pudding is also a favorite. Love this place!

We found the French Quarter Grille via google (not Yelp) and I'm so glad I gave google a shot at the search because the cajun food in this restaurant was the best I have ever had outside of New Orleans. All any of the three of us could say was "WOW". I had the blackened catfish gumbo with crawfish and... More
