This was very good Pizza but not knock your socks off and salivate Terrific ! Friendly welcoming staff. Nice casual atmosphere. Got a" Large build your own pizza", which started at $13.00 for a large. Then after adding the pepperoni, sausage, olives, mushrooms and 2x Proscuitto ( not that great , just pieces $4.00 ) and meatballs, $16.00 added to... More

And it was great. Probably one of the best deliveries that we have gotten in quite some time. Nice crisp crust and the toppings were not the typical for a delivery. Well done, ordered it online which was great, and the delivery was prompt.

We ordered takeout from here twice during our stay in Austin. Both times, the pizza was excellent and delivered when it said it would be from their online ordering system. They make it really easy for tired travellers to get something tasty at their door! Their specialty pizzas are awesome!! Try the Athena!

After all the hype, I had to give it a try. With a wheat allergy, gluten-free pizza that doesn't taste like cardboard is very difficult to find. When my large pepperoni & mushroom arrived, I was very skeptical since it looked just like its "regular" crust sister pizza. It tasted "regular" too, so I even went back inside to be... More

After listening to a rave review of this pizza place from my longest standing friend, we decided to order 2 medium pies from the "Special" menu. One pie was topped with pepperoni the other, jalapeno. The staff was friendly; the pies were fresh out of the oven, placed into the boxes and, driven less than 2 miles to our home.... More

The people at the registers were far from the normal friendly Austin personalities that I'm used to. We had 2 salads and a pizza. I ordered no onions in my salad and said it twice and the onions were mixed in. I continually had to repeat myself during ordering after I was asked ,"what??" Atmosphere was decent pizza was ok...... We love going to Southside Flying Pizza! Why? Because it is always great. This is simple, no frills, no punches pulled delicious pizza. Just like the name implies, the pizza dough flies then flattens out and gets down to the business of turning into one great pie! The place is priced fairly, the service consitant and the most important thing.....tastes... More
