Food was very good, the jar jar duck was exceptional, sushi very fresh and on par with the best. If you have seen my other reviews you know I don't mind spending some cash for an exceptional meal. This is one experience however that, as good as the food is, it's in the back of your mind just how much... More

I had omakase at Uchiko the first time I went and was disappointed, as my previous review indicates. Since then, I've gone a number of times for their happy hour and been, well, very happy. They have outstanding food at reasonable prices. The happy hour menu doesn't change much, so you might not want to go that often, but the... More

We had heard great things about the restaurant so we decided to try ourselves. There wasn't any wait and seated immediately by very friendly hostesses. Our server was equally friendly and very knowledgeable. This is not your regular sushi house. And we had a great time. The server offered many great choices. One thing, talk to your server about what... More

I decided to try that place based on the Trip Advisor reviews. I tried 3 different position from menu at sushi bar. Food was good but not THAT special. Yes: it is different then "regular" sushi. Yes: it is nice and fancy. But I have no idea why so many people are so excited about it. Portions are very small... More

This Restaurant it is located in a very nice neighborhood and the building were its located it is outstanding!!! Since you walk in to the restaurant you know that this is going to be a wonderful experience!!! They do not take reservations, maybe that is the only bad point to this experience, but we walk in without problems to get... More

We go often to Uchiko as we live nearby. It's one of the very few restaurants where I don't mind spending the money as the food and service and excellent - every time! Our children even love it! And we have been to many restaurants around the world. I would be proud to take anyone from any of the more... More

This place lived up to the hype. It's tapas style Japanese food for those that don't know. They have Sushi rolls, sashimi and plenty of cooked options as well. Our waiter was very helpful in explaining menu items that we had questions about and recommending specific things. I typically dislike sake and our waiter asked me some questions and then... More

Uchiko is more than just a sushi restaurant. In fact, I'd venture to say that the sushi, while justifiably first-rate, is not the star of the menu. It's the other dishes, such as the duck breast and the brussels sprouts (which I normally loathe) which really make the place so special. My favorite, though, is the hot rock beef. Slices... More

We decided not to wait in line at Uchi, the sister restaurant of Uchiko's. Our friends arrived at 6pm to get on the list and were told a table would be ready for us by 7pm. They serve wine, beer, and sake. The restaurant is small and the tables close together. There were 6 of us and we were lucky... More

Uchiko is probably one of the best food & service experience of my life ! This place is a must, perfect from A to Z. Special thanks to our waiter Marko (from Croatia) and his recommandations. He made our evening even more pleasant and this dinner sublime. At the end you pay for the amount of pleasure you got but... More
