OMG The best bbq

Brought friends from Michigan here who are BBQ fanatics. They said it is the best BBQ brisket they ever had. I have to agree. Not to mention the sausage and ribs, also the Best. Sides were also were excellent. The Pecan pie was more of a pastry however it is still very good. We got there at 9 am... read more

My sister asked me to get some Franklin BBQ to bring back to California so I bit the bullet and waited for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Good meat: extremely tender, a bit too salty, not so smoky. But their setup made me wonder if they themselves are creating the long lines, likely to generate buzz and business. Once you... More

The BBQ is definitely worth the wait! Get there early with your chairs and cooler and pass time by meeting your stand-in-line neighbors. The wait is worth the best brisket and ribs you will ever have. Not an over rated restaurant, but a hole in the wall that has made a name for itself in its glory. The brisket and... More

The best BBQ I've ever had! I was super skeptical of the hype but it is absolutely worth the wait! For out-of-towners like us (from Los Angeles) wanting to experience Franklin's for the first time, here was our game plan: Woke up at 6:30am got there at 7:02am and were already 6th in line. That means being perched on the... More

Waiting for brisket at Franklins seems excessive, but is really about the entire experience. There is a real friendly vibe in line and servers come out from the restaurant to take drink orders. Many bring chairs, music and drinks for the festival atmosphere. The brisket is the best ever too! Great bark and really moist meat with a perfect amount... More

My husband and I arrived at Franklins at 9 AM and were told that we would probably be served about 12:30. They were spot on with the timing. Looking back, we should have gotten there a little earlier; the wait time would have been the same. We brought drinks and an iPad to watch a movie while we waited. I... More

It's an adventure in patience, but you are rewarded for the endless wait with the BEST bbq brisket and ribs you will ever eat. The white bread (let's be honest, it's like a piece of cake) with the brisket, and bbq sauce and pickles, just DIVINE

Our waIt was only about an hour but the food was excellent. Their customer service seems to be very slow on the delivery of the product and the music was very loud for this old guy, but it was good music.

My wife and I arrived early this morning, 6:30 to be exact to get in line for probably the best BBQ in the world. After waiting four and a half Aaron himself opened the door and in we went to brisket nirvana. We ordered brisket, pulled pork and a sausage link with a side of beans. The brisket was full... More

My niece was in town with family friends to watch a UT Basketball game. She sent me a text asking for a recommendation to eat lunch and mentioned Franklin's. I didn't see the text in time (I would have told her that they probably ran out already), but to my surprise she had sent me another text saying they were... More
