Great farm-to-table eatery with unique seasonal fare! We had the French-fried pork chops and lamb meatloaf. We shared an apple caramel cobbler for dessert. It seemed to be a trendy and fun spot and we enjoyed it.

Chorizo stuffed pork was INCREDIBLE!!! It was so filling but I wanted to keep eating! My mom got a turkey burger that was equally amazing! You have to eat here. I wished I lived closer, cause I would be here once a week!

It is hard to find a reason NOT to go to Jack Allen's. Their drinks are good and strong, the food is homestyle with a flare of the fancy and the staff has always been pleasant and helpful. My personal favorite is the all you can stomach brunch on the weekends. I find myself overwhelmed with all the delicious choices.... More

No matter what I order from this restaurant I feel I consistently get fresh, delicious and well prepared food. Their menu items are unique, today I had the ruby red trout. I don't care for rice So I asked to substitute mashed potatoes. No problem, they didn't even hesitate and those were about the best mashed potatoes I ever had.... More

My wife and I came here for lunch before heading back home. We tried the Killer Cheese Burger and the 5 Cheese macaroni with chicken....I have to say they were awesome. Great environment.....

Jack Allen's Kitchen is always packed. It is a great place to meet friends or family for a leisurely dinner with unqiue items. All the chicken fried porteins are delicious. I love the salmon. The pimiento cheese is really homemade and delicious. Service is personal! We love to eat here when we are in Austin.

Love the menu at this place! Lots of interesting southwestern flavors to try and fabulous cocktails! I had a Mango Habanero Margarita made with Dolce Vida Organic Tequila(an Austin company). Nice relaxed atmosphere and good service.

Not sure why everyone says this place is so great. Its decent but not anything to write home about. Bit on the expensive side for decent food....

Great selection of items, even something for the vegans in the party. Solid attentive service and willing to make changes to your order to accomodate special needs

Little brother graduated from University of Texas at Austin and we had to celebrate. He reserved a room that had a minimum guest count/bill total and we fell far short of that (dang flaky college kids). Still, they worked with us, suggesting things that would be enjoyed by our party and help us reach the minimum--- nothing was a waste.... More
